More movies that are missing from the main page.

eXistenZ_(1999).ShareReactor.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0120907
VERY well spread.
Existenz - David Cronenberg Director Commentary Track (qt6, Apple-mp4a 128).mp4
Very badly spread.

Crash(Unedited).avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0115964
This is horror isn't it? Be sure to get this file, and not the other version which some smartass has edited all the sexscenes out of.

Naked Lunch 1991 DVDRip DivX-QiX.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0102511
Should be quite well spread.
Making Naked Lunch.avi
also fairly well spread..

Dead.Ringers.(1988)David.Cronenberg.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0094964
Don't you tell me this ain't horror. Those operations and surgical instruments sure freaked me out..

The Fly.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0091064
Can't believe this ain't listed..

The_Dead_Zone_[Schubi].avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0085407
There is now also a 'Dead Zone' series, but as far as I know Cronenberg has nothing to do with it. I'll post the episodes availible in the series section in a few days.

Videodrome.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0085407
I'm almost afraid to say it, but I didn't get this movie.. what was the meaning of it all?

The Brood.avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0078908

Rabid [Schubi].avi
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0076590

Shivers.1975.BLooDWeiSeR.avi
http://www.imdb.com/Title?0073705
His debut on the big screen. Very strange.

The rest are either not horror, or already availible on the mainpage.

I was unsure of wheter to post these posts (this and the P. Jackson one) in here or in the General section. Bobble feel fre to move them if you think it fit.

Everything else you ever wanted to know about David Cronenber can be found at http://plasmapool.esmartweb.com/

cool, i think they should stay here, perhaps as sticky's for the time being? If there are loads of them (i hope there will be eventually), i can whip up a section for them or something.

Great post though

I have seen most of those movies, and I gotta say the man has a talent.

Dead Ringers is one of the best movies I've seen recently... I loved the way it connects psychological elements and horror techniques with bitter irony and sense of humour.
I think I'll start downloading the whole collection pretty soon. How about adding some covers to the first post?

yeah, I loved that too. What an AMAZING preformance by Irons. About 5 minutes into the movie you forget that it's actually just one actor, and view them as sepparate people. The way he shows the different characteristics is simply unmatched.
Ofcource 'Crash', 'eXistenZ' and 'Naked Lunch' are also incredible!

Cronenberg is actually my favorite director, although he's currently in a tight struggle for the crown with Takeshi Kitano. Cronenberg's latest 'Spider' sucked mule balls, so sure hope his next 'Painkillers' will be much better, since he's written that himself, from scratch.

LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH!

Have recently watched Scanners again which is still enjoyable. Is gonna be interesting to see wot they are gonna do with the remake though. probably appaling.

@Death: what about that classroom scene? man that rocked. and those 'kids' sure looked cosy.

It was the only horrorfilm of Cronenberg I hadn't seen, and now I think it's very interesting to see how he has evolved from Shivers to eXistenZ (never mind the supershitty Spider).

Only gotta see 'M Butterfly' now, then I've seen'em all, eccept his shooldays shorts.

Btw, I see so much praise for Cronenberg's 'Videodrome' but I must sadly admit I didn't get that at all. Did the guy imagine everything or did his stomach actually......
What was the point of it all? I asume there was one, since all his other films have a very stong one.
I guess I should give it another try, but some spoiler help would be greatly apreciated.
Be sure to post a BIG *SPOILER ALERT* warning though.

*barely but still a SPOILER*
It's all about censorship (and ironically was heavily censored).

To my understanding it isn't real. The problem is the broadcast causes a brain tumour to develop which generates bizarre hallucinations. These are often the best kind of horror films imo, where what you see isn't necessarily true and in a way your trapped inside a damaged mind.

I don't remember any classroom scene.. Hmm.. Maybe i'm thinking about some other movie?
Better dowload it and see, but if it's the one i thinking about i'm gonna regret it! :-)

***VIDEODROME SPOILER***

I think he imagined everything because of the braindamage... When he found his gun inside the stomach, he probably had it in his pocket or something. Another thing that support this theory is when they want to record his "trip" using that helmet. If they could see what he saw he wouldn't need it.

The point of the film? Horrormovies causes brain damage? I guess we're doomed! :-)

Yup Death got it :) The effect of watching what he shouldn't was he got a Brain tumour and went insane. Which is exactly what the conservative pricks in your government will tell you ;) It's what the idiots at the censors tell everyone too :(

/me bitchslaps MPAA, BBFC and Daily Mail

Went straight over the BBFC's head of course and they cut it to shreads

I finally know why 'M Butterfly' is never mentioned in a discussion about Cronenberg movie. bah

Dose anyone know if videodrome in this list is the uncut version??

You can tell because in the uncut version the big corprate guy "explodes" HP Lovecraft style all over the stage.

Just watch it again, have a few drinks before, have a few drinks during follow the film with some real good sex. Then a few days later watch it again... it will all become clear.

I think this is probably my FAV movie of all time. Well at least one of them.

It's a pity this collection ended up here, Cronrnberg surely deserves better treatment. I'm a little bit too busy recently to organise collections.

I totaly agree Polityk, Cronrnberg is a legend. Even if Spider was a bit week.... even so it was a lot better than some of the other stuff coming out that year.

Sorry, this is my first message. Why these links are in "Fake / Invalid / Dead Movies?" section? I downloaded few of them, they are good rips. And 2-3 of them are very good horror movies. I think we must put them on main page. (Indeed, I was trying to add Brood movie to main page, then I looked into forums and found this thread. )

its the topic that needed dumping, not the files. Needs deleting now i guess.

It was in collections in progress for ages, but its too far from being a comprehensive cronemberg collection. So there was the option of deletion or dumping it here.
