Strange. Two people who can see in the future. Or how should I understand the "always will be"?

and you have faith in hollywood then? ;) Don't take things like that seriously, it was a joke, I was just pointing out that it's been the best zombie film for nearly 30 years and nothing has ever come remotely close:( Well maybe Day of the Dead and Night of the Living Dead but they were the other films in that series

30 years without anything coming close is a long, long time tis all :( No1 has faith in zombie films anymore, the last two that the english speaking regions churned out were Resident Evil and 28 days later, and they aren't close :( Asia is having a crack at it, but still.

what about all the fulchi ones? 'The Beyond' 'Zombie Flesheaters' 'City of the Living Dead'... all are great!

'28 days later' was great as you said. 'Versus' was incredibly entertaining too.

'Day of the dead' was... eeeehhhh. Rather watch 'Return of the living dead'.

and they were all made to look really shit by Dawn of the Dead :D This film has the subgenre by the balls

The Beyond, Versus, etc. are all great but they aren't in the same league. Day of the Dead was better than Return of the Living dead easily imo :)

Of course not. Hollywood in only good for new examples of computer graphics. Nothing more.

I would not say that. There is still the granddaddy of all "modern" zombie movies: The original "Night of the living dead (1968)". Though I even like the remake, which is quite rare. Especially the twist at the ending compared to the original makes it worth watching. Then there is "Zombi 2, Island of the living Dead, Zombie Flesh Eaters". In my opinion absolutely comparable with the "Dawn/Day/Night" trilogy. This one is scary.

Of course not. Show/make one on Germany and you can almost expect jail. And this is no joke :(

Dawn of the Dead I just love, I can't hold it in higher regard... even the social comment it makes is spot on (Zombies wondering around the shopping mall :) ). Night of the Living Dead is always quoted as the best in the genre, but any series critic rates Dawn of the Dead as the best. Kind of like sci-fi, whilst Star Wars normally wins best sci-fi, empire strikes back is much better :)

Anyway, I'll set Bub on anyone who doesn't agree  :D

Never cared what critics say. And I'd rank "The 5th Element" higher than any of the Star Wars parts. The there is "Dark City". Nope, I am not a fan of Star Wars. Did no even bother to dl them.

'Blade Runner' is the best sci-fi. =)
Closely followed by 'Mad Max 2'
eXistenZ is totally awesome.
Terminator 1&2 are both great too.
Even 'Running Man' or 'Death Race 2000' are better than Star Wars.
Westworld
Futureworld
War of the Worlds
Metropolis

Star Wars movies are much lesser films than Turtles.
Better than 'Pluto Nash' though.

Cause I say so.

Already seen part 3? It is on my stack, but no time to watch it, yet.

and that's why your banned form making comments on sci-fi :)

Blade Runner is very good, but Alien is a better sci-fi flick by the same director. I mean just because of the factor that Blade runner has single handledly set out how sci-fi films look is merit enough. Still Alien built the bleak sci-fi future (kind of the anti-Star Wars/2001). Still Empire Strikes Back is just the genre top.

Terminator is far too cheesy to be that near the top, although Arnie in his role is the Action genre icon like Harrison Ford as Indy is one of them :)

IMO Terminator 1 is pretty shit, number 2 is very cheesy but nice action sequences, T3 is supposed to be the worst in the series but I can't be bothered watching it yet :)

it is pretty shit... deal with it  Seriously, Arnie is better in T1 than he is in any other role. The storyline is ok, but the whole film feels like the lowest budget piece of mundane crap ever.

Don't get me wrong it's a 6 or 7 star film, but it isn't that good and pretending it's the best sci-fi film ever or one of them just isn't right imo, it's certainly worse than a lot of sci-fi films i've seen anyways (Dark City, A clockwork Orange, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Alien, Aliens, 12 monkeys, akira, 2001, 20,000 leagues, andromeda strain, dr Strangelove, the fly, invasion of the body snatchers, metropolis, the thing, westworld, etc.). Empire Strikes back is probably one of the best films made, and definately the best space opera and probably the best sci-fi flick.

---

Anyway, this isn't zombie films anymore. Go dawn of the dead, can't believe they are remaking it... surely that is a crime?

Then again they did it with night of the living dead, albeit with poor acting and a shit ending :(

zombie flesh eaters 2 is on the network but only 2 ppl have the full english language version (as far as i know) and both users have different file ID hashes for it :?

those 2 users being Paul Scream 22 and maxpayne2049

but from what i have heard the copy is a bit dodgy with interlacing going on in it :(

So if anyone has the DVD and wants to do a rip it would be appreciated :D

I have GOT TO get a ftp setup....

had this version that is floating around been of a worthy quality it would be more spread by now by the HHAH communit, but with it being of a lower quality nobody has bothered going for it as there has been WAY too many other horror releases of higher quality for us to spread and i totally understand about trying to release several movies onto the network at once with a limited bandwidth....maybe when things quieten down on the horror front anyone who does have the DVD could rip it

setting up an ftp may well help get a few more full sources before the network release but you will still be hampered by bandwidth limits :(

but i know for a fact having the HHAH community option in my emule has boosted everyones downloads from me by a vast amount (check your transfer statistics on my name to see) and i do hope everyone has this option enabled so the horror maniacs get the movies spread quicker :D
