Does anyone still have the outtakes? Reshare would be great.

Hash check:

I have them on a disc somewhere, I'll try and dig them out for you later, but if it's taking a while, feel free to remind me

There's one full source now, don't know if it's you. But the queue ranks are very high. Haven't received a single chunk in two days. If it's you, could you set the prio a little higher? If it's not you, I hereby remind you to reshare it.

Thanks you very much. :beerchug:

I've finished the movie (still sharing) but it has strong interlacing artifacts/lines. Is it me or the rip?

finished the movie too, and yeah, just checked, the quality of the rip is pretty bad
no offense, dxa, but you must have done something wrong here (deinterlace instaed of IVTC ? dunno really...)

but the rip looks very often like this :
Image

the overall video quality is surprinsingly bad for a 1h19min movie... (lot of pixellisation on top interlace lines)
time for a new rip ?

Lol....yeah...it doesn't suprise me here...that was one of the first rips I had ever done....Other rips came out so I wasnt' worried to much on a redo...I can do a redo though at least for the out takes.....So you guys picked a boner I put out...I actually didn't realise it was that bad :o Thankfully I picked up pretty quick on the learning curve here...I know I ripped it before I ever knew of edk or anything like that so that can give you a scale to exactly how old it is....That first couple of months I was doing it I admitt...was trial and error..and actually never thought I was going to be THIS into the whole scene back then like I am now...My stance is it needs a rerip badly...Now I think there are a few already put out of the main film...I can though like I said pull the extras,I am gonna have to grab ti for myself it looks like anyways...I think mY sweet Satan had soem interlace issues as well.Still this is nothing compared to my most infamous of shit rips like Traces of Death.mpg...Now THAT was shit!! Which I did do a redo of...Most of the old rippers here have got a few they wish they could sweep under the mat with the "Move along now...Nothing to see here" stance.Even Spud I am sure has at least one  (although you would need something short of a Pain amplifier to get the info out of him :P )Back then you really had to ferret out info and some progs were dodgy...I don't even think GK was even made at that point.Nowadays any moron can rip a movie with progs like Auto GK and not have any knowledge of what they are doing at all and have it come out good.
So yeah,Rerip if we don't get to it first..Won't hurt my feelers a bit :D :beerchug:

Unshared the rip. :-)
Emule search shows two alternatives btw:

*not verfied*

ed2k: Deadbeat.at.Dawn.1988.DvdRip.XviD-GrimRippers.avi  [700.08 Mb] [Stats]

Sources seem slim.

*not verfied*

ed2k: DeadBeat_At_Dawn_DVD_German-Engl_uncut_by_EinMannSiehtRot.avi  [781.35 Mb] [Stats]

Better spread.

Does anyone have any of these and can provide information on the quality?

I had the grimrippers one and the DXA one. It was good enough if I rememeber. I'll go digging, But a new divx5 rip would be sweet, especially since some jerkoff stole my synapse DVD! Never bring your movies to college dorms, a lesson I learned hard, with 12 or so favorites gone to thieves (at least they had taste...). What I'm trying to say.... new proper rip please! :googley:

Yeah, a new proper rip would be fine. In the meantime I'll try and get the Grimrippers release.

Here's a small update: The Grimrippers version seems to be dead (not a single full source in more than two days). Trying the other one.

I finally found the disc with the outtakes on if you still want that.

I checked through it and the video quality doesn't seem too bad, it's watchable anyway, it's only when you pause that you can really see the interlacing. So if anyone wants the outtakes bad enough, I can share them.

Thanks a lot but I've already deleted the movie (or all rips for that matter). No use for the extras without a watchable rip of the movie. :(
