-1 the rip of Dead and Buried ( yes i got it complete after all, those last mbs were really slow, i spammed someones inbox at FH to put it on release but no result either, i could grab about 250 kb a day from him though :S), anyway its complete and despite the things mentioned in the thread you posted i don't think it looks so bad (especially compared to lots of the vhs rips that are sometimes terrible, but still better than nothing ;-) )

I must admit I haven't seen the rip myself, never bothered when I saw the comments as I have a pre-cert VHS of this, I think I'll wait till Music Zone have the forthcoming DVD for less than a tenner

Brilliant thread; managed to grab a few class movies :beerchug: . However, i have been trying to get madhouse and hell of the living dead, but i see no sources and they've been stuck at about 30 - 40 % for weeks now!

Any chance of a reshare please?

Ta!

well this ed2k: Madhouse-Uncut.1981.VHSrip.HHAH.avi  [700.08 Mb] [Stats] has been in my shares since completion so i should be seen as a FS.
ed2k: Hell.Of.The.Living.Dead.1981.dvDivX-BLooDWeiSeR.avi  [701.12 Mb] [Stats] can be reshared as well if needed but best to grab one at a time :)

Ivrytwr3, you've got no chance, no1 uses overnet/edonkey anymore because... well they are crappy and don't do the job right. You'll get no chance of seeing sources.

seriously consider switching to a better client. Particularly with no mainstream films, you'll see far more sources, and would have seen purple nightmare sharing it constantly. Problem is overnet doesn't see emule client, it can only see edonkeyhybrids which are shitty as they stand, and can only see some of the emule clients.

Regarding "Cannibal Ferox":

There are several versions listed in this thread, and only one is verified... I just got through getting the verified version and the video quality on that one is really terrible. Especially the bad interlacing.

Also it is only 88 minutes long and IMDB lists alternate versions at 93 and 95 minutes, so I'm guessing this one is cut? There is still a lot of gore left in there including the castration scenes. If the only cut scenes are of animal violence then I won't miss having them, otherwise I'd like to have the most uncut version.

I'll try one of the unverified links next, but does anybody know which is the best rip?

I've also been trying to find the best version of Lenzi's "Eaten Alive"...

The correct running time of Cannibal Ferox is 89m08s, imdb quite often get running times wrong.

OK, thanks for that info George, so do you know which rip has the best picture quality? Because this one sucks:

I don't think there is one, as far as I'm aware they all suffer from either interlacing or ghosting problems.

I don't think there's one of those either, although Dxa once mentioned doing one...

I have the uncut French DVD which is of quite a good quality if a re-rip is needed :)

I did one up a while ago....can't remember the quality and yeah I did do a version of eaten alive but I didn't like the quality of the source so I am dumping it for the other copy...I mean why rerip the version that is already out there in svcd? But it would be cool to see one from you Bonnie on the Cannibal Ferox...I don't remember ghosting on my copy but it was a 2cd one and it is old so I can't remember the quality to good. :wacky:

Bonnie, that would be great if you could do a good rip... of course, you already do so much for us around here and its very much appreciated :beerchug:

Dxa, I think it was the 2 CD set of Eaten Alive I looked at a few months ago and the interlacing was pretty bad on that one as well.

no pb, I'll do another rip :)
That will be another occasion for me to watch this flick once again and to appreciate the wonderful scenery ... that strangely looks much more like the woods behind my parents' house than the Amazonian Forest... But what do I know about the jungle anyway

It is some great scenery. Also one of the things I love most about this movie is the soundtrack - especially the theme during the opening credits and the New York scenes... And the theme which plays a lot while they're being chased through the jungle is cool too.
