Why Amazon? Is there a special reason? |
They allow, infact encourage remote linking and stealing their bandwidth as to advertise their products. The more people see it the more people want to buy it I guess. They will
never change the url of their pictures because people have links to that product on their websites and that will harm sales, and they will get complaints from affiliates... infact the affiliate programme will cease to work. It is also very stable. As for monitoring bandwidth, they will most likely monitor usage, but wtf do they care, they make shit loads and there will be loads of sites that get much larger hits, so they won't see or care about the little sites. All movie posters are the same deal, they are infact from another retail site
IMDB request you don't remote link and don't want you stealing their bandwidth. They take lots of measures to ensure that it isn't too simple to steal pics too, sometimes you will get a messaging saying "Don't remote link blah blah"
This is why amazon.com, amazon.de and amazon.co.uk are the best choices
BTW, sometimes posters can be found on one of them, that aren't on the others.
