Is it possible to group the forums so you can search by a section :

I.E make it possible to search "releases" instead of individually searching High Quality, Low Quality etc.

would mean like the changing the category to movies and leaving the forum at all? That searches all forums within the movies category, which is presumably what your wanting. I've never had to search individual forums, if i'm looking for a movie, I always select "movies" from categories.

If that's what you were wanting, that feature has existed since inception several years ago, its standard phpbb (at least for the whole of 2.0). You can, for example, search only movie release sections at fileheaven by doing the same thing.

Its one of the reasons why all request forums are grouped together in a seperate category (both here and at fileheaven), so they don't pop up in the results for a movie release only search ;)

Leave the forum box alone, and specify a category of "movies".

okay, feedback time. As i'm a perfectionist please answer this question:
On a scale of one to ten, how succesful was i at dropping that bombshell?

Incidently, the Site Search is useful for quick searches for a title, which does the old site, the new site, these forums and the scifi forums. Only the ed2k release sections for each section, and only the topic titles.

Butr yeah, that category thing works for any category, i think that's why they were implemented so you can seperate and browse/search bits of the forum without trawling through irrelevant stuff. At fucktheinter.net, where they have discussion, reshares and requests as well as releases as a category, it doesn't work which is how sharereactor was, and filenexus too, in fact most sites i use. I'm going to take credit for first suggesting the "put requests and reshares group and in a category of their own" for the reason you needed it though, nobody wants request posts turning up in the release results. Whether I actually did has been clouded by years and booze

I was wondering if you meant queueing up say forum 1, 19, 18,etc, rather than one forum, or one category. That's not implemented, but i don't think its that useful either

All this is very confusing for my tiny brain

But wanna say that the site search function rules! :D It's the first thing I use

I know... not much of a feedback, but I haven't got drunk for a week, so I feel crazy dazy :googley:
