Looks fine to me but it could be easier to get a screen with more vivid color from 'Zombi 2' IMO. And what about a screen from 'Suspiria', that sure would be colorful :wacky:

Now they're MUCH better, I agree that we need vivid coloured images in order to make the differences between non / new more obvious

Exactly, thats my only gripe about update to images.

I think it will just take some time to get use to it :wink:

That looks great too, but its erm, not really horrorish

I guess that can go on non-horror.

I'm on my desktop now, and they look a lot better. But i'll test on a crt and my laptop for the images, since they should really be good looking on every setup

I mean highquality looks really good on my pc, but on my laptop its a lot less vibrant which is a shame, since i like the image. Guess that one will have to go, and i guess hardware too.

If someone has a suitable hardware one and what ever others, keep em coming and i'll update them till we have a good set

oh yeah press ctrl+F5 to refresh the images btw, or right click and go to view then hit refresh if you want to be bandwidth friendly

Fixed nzb since i noticed a white bar on my desktop pc, so i cropped that out.

Okay here's the way i see it:

Moderator section isn't very clear
Hardware image isn't too hot on poorer displays
The image isn't overly bright and is mostly black
The image is white washed grey
same here
and again
Black background and blueish when there's new posts so probably needs to be replaced with some blood

The only one that looks 'wrong' to me is No 2. Looks OK in B&W, but unclear in colour.

Look at the highlighted white washed images and look at their immediate neighbours. The blacks aren't really defined enough since the source for the image wasn't very good quality.

Well, I guess is all a question of everybody having different tastes. I like the one from "From Beyond". The one from Bubba whith Bruce's face, seems a little out of place in a horror forum. I don´t think people have to know the movies from where the pictures are, they just have to see images that can be related to horror.

On my latop the current non-horror one isn't bright enough or is bright but its only a small part of the logo.
