Looks really good. I'm not sure about that Tree on the HQ. Maybe something with a little more colour. Hellraiser, Nightbreed spring to mind

yeah i was thinking the same thing, but i really like that image. I have a thing for fake setpieces, its from the indoor forest set in sleepy hollow

The image itself is good, just maybe not colourful enough. In saying that after a refresh (posts read) the b&w image is different enough to be noticeable. However as the most popular is should be blood splattered :lol:

I like it over here and on the sci-fi forum. They take a bit of getting used to at first, but once you do, they're fun to look at.

In my opinion there shouldn't be more than one screen from the same movie/series. Now we have two from "Evil Dead" and three from "Aliens"...

I think that the 'icons' for FAQ, Horror Fanatics, Hardware, HQ, LQ (the goblin from "Troll 2" looks better than this screen of Rumpelshitskin), Screeners, Horror Collections and Progress, Games and Movie Requests could or even should be changed in some cases.
The ones that have to stay (because they are the best) are from sections: General, HDTV, Torrent (however the movie it's from is not a horror, so it can be possibly moved to Non-horror), Horror Series, Anyone interested, Misc Req and Reshare (this one is perfect!).

Ok, and a bunch of ideas:
- a screen from "Hellraiser" for HQ section (the tree can be moved elsewhere)... maybe the three cenobites in the attic from H1?
- a shot from "Nightbreed"... maybe of the porcupine woman?
- zombiefied Julie from "Return of the Living Dead 3"!!! Movie Requests?
- Antropophagus eating his intestines
- cannibal dinner from "Cannibal Holocaust"
- the Zuni doll from "Trilogy of Terror" (you can use the screen from my Evil Dolls Collection)
- Freddy?
- Fulci's zombies look better than Romero's

No that's a poor picture for a section, not enough colour. Its mostly grey anyway, so the difference between the greyscale and the colour version will be poor. Its also not good enough quality to survive a resize

If you got screens though, keep em coming

No it doesn't. The quality of the print is terrible, and the troll fills the screen which is 4:3, meaning a widescreen crop can't be done, and you'd end up with the eyes or something.

As for the 'dupes'. Alien egg (progress) -> alien chest burster (done) for collections, hence why there's two from the same movie (albeit the poster and an actual scene). The other is from Alien 3 which was made over a decade later. There's 1 from evil dead and one from evil dead 2.

You've missed that there's three from "The Thing" though, hardware and software is the guy frozen in the seat by the typewriter

That looks terrible on my laptop unfortunately, its very hard to make out what it is. I looked at it on my PC and its better, but its still too blurry.

The zombie looks good full sized, but when you scale it down, unfortunately the background is too similar a colour to the foreground.

I made all/most the others from publicity shots which have a higher resolution. I'll dig through some rips i have on my pc later and make a big collection of shots.
