Our site??? This site is Spudthedestroyers.

There's no way in hell I'd switch to BT, nor would I be so presumptuous as to tell a site that's been in existence for YEARS to change it's policy after being registered for 8 days!

Just look at Zaerc tracker; most of the times if you don't download a movie in a few days after its release it's gone forever, or it takes ages to download because there are a only a few seeds left...for me and for people wanting old releases & rare stuff Emule is the way to go. You only have to get rid of the "i want it all and right now" mentality.

1:sorry! if the word "our site "get in trouble .I chang what I said to "Spudthedestroyers site"
2:anyone who came Spudthedestroyers site, not he love whose site.because he love movies in the sit.but if speed is 456b/s,the movies cost his 3M,HDTV 1 year
3:I registered for 8 days ,speed 456b/s,I have download 8.1M.that is my impetus to advice switch to BT
4:the site is Spudthedestroyers site,he have right not to switch to BT,but if right thing cannot be done ,wrong thing is being done .
5:if someone who registered for 8 days have idea to make the site better.the man who registered for many years should have thoughts to make it best, except he was cut off head like as many man or weman in the site movies.
I am wating emule to speed up ,waiting switch to BT untill the waiting kill myself!

So right way is bt and wrong way emule?

Why? cause you have a shitty download on emule?

Maby you should try to find out why that is. Aren't you building credit? or not uploading at all?

Instead of telling emule pro's to switch to bt, try to find out what you're doing wrong.

Err, you.

Just because YOU can't use emule properly you expect all 7000+ registered users of this site to switch to BT??!!

A more sensible post would have been to ask for help using Emule, that way you wouldn't have annoyed people so much

Oh, and for your information emule usually cruises along @ around 700KB/s for me, a speed I'm more than happy with, so why would I need to switch to BT?

1:any who have to use emule have already BT,what times?who have no bt?
2:if you use bt ,you speed will 7000kb/s,full speed.not 700kb/s,only after you connet 2min.not wait long time

ddd999 thats bull.

1) I've used emule a looooong time and almost never bt. the times I did use it was terribly slow. (heee do we see a resemblance in here?)
2) bull, if your max bandwidth is 700KB/s you won't get more with bt...

emule doesn't work that way, that you get speed the moment you connect.
You have to build credit with other people and you need to stay online 24/7 (prefered) for it to work properly.
When you've build credit and you are in a group of downloades/sharers who are interested in the same stuff. Your downloads will go much faster.
With group I mean people with same interests as you. Those who also download and release/share the same stuff.

And that typical leech attitude you are showing doesn't help at all.

So if you aren't interested in emule, go back to your bt.
If you want these movies though, you'd better drop the leech attitude and try to ask for help in configuring emule for a change.

Its fine to say our site or your site, if enough people want something and there's no argument against it I will change things. I always have in the past.

BT is a seriously flawed technology. There are serious inherant security and privacy issues.

There won't be a tracker here in the short term I'm afraid, its a technology i think is primed for replacement, but as lots of people wanted it there is a torrent section right here:
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewforum.php?f=35
They use free, external trackers. Zearc's popular and the one most frequently used.

I'm guessing its an internal tracker that's being requested though, I'm not sure that would be overly popular with the members of the site atm. I've posted with the flaws of torrent technology before, my view point hasn't changed much:

Yeah I don't think a private tracker is the way to go. On Karagarga,
they do have a huge list of movies but I'd say 33% of them actually have
seeds for them at any one time. You can of course request a reseed (at a
penalty to your credits BTW) but that is no guarantee either.

With that said, I've also had e2k links stall or just plain DOA. I think
neither side can claim perfection. ATM though, I'd say the balance is
definitely on e2k side. I've found so many old movies hanging around
that I thought I'd never find (and never did on public trackers). Slow and steady wins the race! :)

Wow what a thread. :outsider:

1. Leech.

2. Ballsac

3. BT has very limited choice. ed2k is broad (like your mom) spreading the exact links through many forums and communities of all languages.

4. BT is better for porno. Sorry its true. Hey I want my money$hot NOW!

5. I've shared rips and am still sharing rips 4 years old. Been sharing some rips for YEARS. Always.

6. ed2k has many diffrent clients and features for releasers and leechers. BT clients run in JAva .. pfff.

7. ed2k has less of a privatized nature, so it actually is leech friendly as long as you set some constant uploads at a speed you want.

8. Neither are DC++.

9. You don't get any barbeque n00bflesh with that attitude.
