I was thinking after seeing Spud`s screens for 28 Weeks Later, that it was only the second movie i`d seen screens for that showed the "ticker" and it got me thinking.

Perhaps there should be a requirement/request that with these sort of movies to include screens thats show clearly:-

1) Any Ticker/Msg, etc
2) Any subtitles (to show angle, over cropping, etc)
3) Any credits (also to show angle, etc)

I`ve seen a few movies that had subs halfway off the screen, etc.

any thoughts on this would be beneficial.

I'm pretty much sure that that information is mandatory and would expect everyone to post it if known.

I'm utterly amazed that scene groups don't mention these basic facts in their nfos but certainly its something you should be mentioning in your threads, yes.

I'm not sure about 3 though.

there is a valid reason for the credits thing.......

...if you see the beggining credits, they are generally in the middle of the picture so any missing credits such as "uperman Retur" etc, will give an idea of how much of the screen is missing from the left and right edges....

sure, but they aren't actually common; TS/CAM posts that is. Its horror only remember.

I think a clear note of watermarking/b+w and some screens is enough :)
