I told you you'd kill me.

Don't worry, I had a bright moment lately: instead of installing the new Dutch XP I got from work, I can of course just enter the product key and keep my English install. Genious, eh? :bliss: So I can get IE 7 real soon.

I don't like it. It decreases the size of the content area. :voodoo:

/me joins spud throwing things at the IE fanboy :prat: :voodoo: :prat:

You really should use firefox or similar as it runs much better & uses a lot less processing. It doesnt take long to get used to :googley:

You mean the gray bar? I don't care.

Thanks for fixing the box so quickly ;)

Another thing: some avatars are totally screwed up now because of some sort of resizing. Is this what GT meant with wrong AR? Because I can see some real f00ked up avatars around here.

do you have any examples? i fixed george's by just going into his profile and removing the numbers from the 'resize' box at the bottom... they probably need the same doing to them.

I forgot his nick, but he has this big bird as an avatar, a red marabou. It used to be a quite high avatar, and now it looks like the poor bird is crashed.

About boxes: there are several other boxes of which it would be VERY nice if they got the same treatment as the reply-box. For example: the login boxes down at the indexpage, subject box in the reply-page, etc.

Don't know if this is a PHPBB3 Bug, but I can't do a Site Search. I get this everytime, even if I wait 5 or more minutes:

Code:
Restricted
You have attempted too many searches. Please wait 30 seconds before searching again.

probably a timing bug, we changed timezones and there's a few tweaks needed, are you logged in?
tru log in and i think it bypasses the limit (or that might just be mods).

I still get the following error sometimes when pressing the "Preview" button for creating/editing posts: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

I did the following things:
1. Clicked "quote" on Slayer's last post in this topic
2. Hit the "Preview" button -> no error message
3. Hit the "Preview" button -> ERROR
4. Hit the "Preview" button -> ERROR
5. Hit the "Preview" button -> no error message

Dunno what the problem is, because it seems to happen randomly.

Edit: I also experience the same behavior when I press the "Preview" which is located at the bottom of each topic (quick reply functionality).

PS: I never had the error when pressing "Submit". Only the "Preview" button seems to cause problems.

Maybe every user gets his unique problems with PHPBB3? :watchingyou:

I remember this before & spud fixed it so frontpagemods dont have to wait due to the role.

I have hit preview and turned on autoreload every 1 second for over 300 reloads and did not see this once. I did this a fair few times manually in IE7 and also in Opera which i downloaded. Just doesn't do that... Could I ask you to clear your cache and make sure you are not blocking javascripts or any other requests and see if you still get it?

edit: although i do recall seeing that message when i was using an old, old template file... could you try clearing your cache?

Right, i've deleted your session from the frontpage.... i wonder if that's it. If its not I'm at a bit of a loss. Could you try another browser if you have one at your disposal?

I've just logged out and can successfully search, get blocked and then search again about 15 seconds later (the 30 seconds is a lie  ). Tried in IE and mozilla. :(
