What's a Scandinavian so-and-so?

I checked the date/time of the posts, and they were all made on one day and some were so shortly followed up by another, that it backed up the suspicion I already had ebcause of the numbered nickname and the content of some of the posts (trivialities which fit in everywhere and in bad English as well).

I think the same about joybanu98, btw, although the time between his posts is a bit longer:

Sorry Kate.

I was wondering why there were no more posts by them, but it is of course because you blocked them :P

OK, new one. I suspect this one because of the nonsensical content of the posts (and again, the nick with number):

Anyone know of a way of getting rid of automated spam pricks? We have custom questions, quizes, etc. and they still get through. We also ban known spammers via stopforumspam.com, but still some get through.

I already said: If possible make it that the first 25 posts of new members must be manually put through. But probably even the first one or two would be sufficient. I doubt spammers would take the effort to write one or two posts, which are clearly related to this forum to show they are not spammers.

Okay, pains to do it but:
1) Changed the Captcha; more question on sign up! grrr
2) Told the site to use the "newly registered" groups, so now the first five posts of any new sign up are moderated.

So i guess only mods will see spam.

Thanks to you and the mods for the extra work you are doing now to keep the site clean. Damn spammers. :(

I didn't realise but apparantly all but one of the captcha's got broke, so 1) should help.

If i could figure out how to give permissions i'd also give Slayer more rights to delete users, etc.

At least users of the site outside the mods won't see spam.
