I was just wondering if people were wanting an other section? Ie. non-horror but stuff people might be interested in.

I noticed a few rips of strictly non-horror stuff and I don't really like locking or removing release threads much. Just an idea anyway.

i thought that was "smalltalk" section?

*sigh*
You spend money and effort coding and running a site... and you ask for one blow job and they think your a perv

Anyway, there are quite a few sections at the moment, but this one would be stuck on the end as an extra kind of thing. People can post appz or movies or whatever that they might be of interest.

I'd be up for that :)
Although if it's anything like the games section, it won't get used :(

Hmm... in my opinion, there's no need for that. Misc/Other Releases section covers that area.

I mean. If there would be:
Misc / Other Horror Releases
Other Non-Horror Stuff
sections.

Just don't see much use for both of them. One section should cover-up all "extra" stuff. Music, Appz, eBooks, Subtitles, etc... and maybe the 'non-horror stuff'. After all this is a site specialized to horror, people can always get their links to non-horror movies in sites like FileHeaven. :)

I don't think we really need it.

If you notice, the word horror is in the description, you think it should be removed just for a misc/other in general?

I was thinking about it, it could be a good idea.
It's just a formal change, it wouldn't change much as people post non-horror stuff there as well.

The games section is pretty much dead, but a section for sci-fi would be cool.

Yeah... guess that would be a good idea.
There's already quite a lot "non-horror" releases..

Not very alive a.t.m. but maybe few sci-fi people could kick some life in it(?) =)

Not very alive atm, lol. The last post on the forum was May 3rd, 2003,

I'd like the new section. Maybe I can find some more "weird" movies like Mulholland Dr., Pi, Dark City, Rerquiem for a Dream and the likes..

In my opinion those flicks could be posted to main movie release sections. IE: Mulholland Dr., Dark City = thrillers. It doesn't necessarily have be a horror/gore/splatter movie, if it has some horror elements in it is enough. At least that's the way I have 'worked' all this time (Hangman, Flatliners, Deliverance, etc. etc. not "pure" horror movies, but are close enough to the genre to be posted here) :)
And you can always find more of that kind of links in FileHeaven for example.

Yes, quite dead now. But my point was that some dedicated sci-fi fans could kick it alive easily. We have there already a nice existing site/forum. Few ("rare") releases posted and some dedicated posters to start building and soon people will be coming there (in theory that is ;))... without releasers forum is nothing and when few appear -> then it has all changes to grow. :)

Exploitation section of 60's/70's/80's films would be cool
than i can throw in some trully cheesy bad non-horror comedies;
And some Sexploitation gems like 60's H.G. Lewis's "Alley Tramp" (Very Funny), "The Black Alleycats" ." Mondo Topless", "the brick doll house"
You know some real crappy vintage finds.
Films that you need to be stoned to witness to fully injoy
