Changing user title?

Hi,

I wanted to change my usertitle because I don't like it anymore. But when I try to do so in my profile, it says profile updated ... and afterwards it's all the same!
I mean I still have the same user title.

Can anyone help?

users can't do it themselves, just think if everyone was to change names every two names. The place would be a mess.

Regardless, an admin is the only one that can do it. If you want to change your screenname post the alternative here and i'll do it for ya

oh, i thought you meant username? There's no way to change user rank from the profile you see, so you were referring to username right?

Yes sorry, I meant user name not use title.

But since I'm active in a few other boards aswell & since I can't change my user name there either, I think I'm going to keep my current one.

I don't want to have different names in different boards.

Any limit on the length? Can it have spaces or _ ?

no longer than the equivalent of:
"Lunatic Of Gods Creation" which is under your name (and in a smaller font). Anything bigger than that screws up the layout. I think about 18 characters is the limit.

Any ASCII, or even extended ASCII characters are allowed.

edit: ah i see, your name is luckily *just* at the maximum. Any more characters and it would spill over and screw up the layout.
