It looks a lot neater imo, but before I add loads of movies with this new format, I'd like some feedback on improvements (if there are any, if its fine don't make me do extra work! )

Should be even easier than using the VB program I made ages ago using this method too :)

sub links will always be there, even if no links are available, but apart from that, I think it looks much nicer.

Only problem is, there's no practical way for me to go back and change the previous submissions, so it will be using the template from then on. That will be lacking in consistancy I guess, but who really cares about that :wacky:

Very very good!

One suggestion though. You may change the link color to a more distinct color, instead of using grey link over a grey background.

It looks far better to me, but on my 17" 1024x768 monitor a portion of the review text on the right is being masked by the boxes that are there. There possibly needs to be some resizing or a horozontal scroll bar added Spud.

once again, its 100% m$ fault. IE doesn't properally interpret table dimensions (i had the table at 100%, which is completely W3 standard and mozilla and opera see that fine). So what does IE do? Indent the table 10% (there is zero code telling it to do anything of the sort) so 10% spills over the damn page

That is nothing but shoddy coding. Anyway, thx for reporting:
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules.php? ... ent&id=339
Better?

Okay, I'm going to go ahead and use this theme, its slightly modified to be more "IE compliant", which means not only complying to html standard, but m$ effort at trying to use it too

Feedback is most welcome, and bug reports just as welcome :)

BTW, you may want to consider a better browser too ;)

By the way spud, just noticed. At the right hand side it says 'Donatations' instead of 'Donations' :) And I still think that another link color would be better.

the red + white don't go too good together IMO.

layout is much better though.

The user comment area is the best adition to that page... top stuff.

@John_Doe Yea I'm not a fan of the white (whiel we at it the whit forum logo clashes with the colour of everythign else as well)

@spudthedestroyer wat bowser do you use? I use Opera mainly. Oh and that movie link dose not have a screen ratio.. I think that is very important info weather it is full screenn or letter boxed etc etc

The screen info isn't always present on imdb when it imports the info, so the resolution must be utilised to derive that I'm afraid. There should never be any uncropped boarders so if you divide the horizonatal by the vertical, you will get the 1:XYZ ratio.

I think that's one of the reasons the forum hit counter has gone up. It is only present on one page for unregistered peeps. If you have any other suggestions for the forum logo:

Do you have a preference over what is better on Red? Luminosity is not apparant, so contrast seemed to be the best way imo.

I'm not very good at webdesign so no... but must you use that tone of red? The combination of colors reminds me of jogging shoes.

What aboot Pink? (kidding  )

noticed another tiny nitpicking flaw.
see the frame around 'Starring' is thick, whereas the one around 'Notes' is thin.
