How about having the country of origin in the original post or subject?

It would help me avoid all those sorry ass Italian movies.

Theoretically, good idea, but in implementation I think it would be bad to put meta data such as country of origin in the subject title. As it stands my preference is title (year) and I don't think adding country would be a good idea.

What does everyone else think?

Hmm, honestly I don't think it's such a good idea. This will make the release thread titles longer, occupying space that is sometimes needed for more vital information.

I think it's upto the poster/ripper.
If they've gone to the trouble of ripping a title, posting it, and sharing they can add country of origin to the title if they want

But I must admit I prefer theMuch simpler and makes browsing the section easy on the eye!

I don't know... fileheaven's sections got into a right mess a while back when everyone was posting in a lot of different formats and syntaxes. It was just too much of a strain to browse the sections.

It's a shame there's no sort of advanced 'sort and display' feature for phpbb, where you could enter details like country of origin and do a filter. To be honest I could code something like that pretty easily (albeit with people posting topics requiring to input the country) (but i'd imagine time consuming) but I wouldn't like to think of database strain and ultimate use.
