Another suggestion, a dedicated bank account, you could pm the details to those who want to donate. Hopefully this is a better suggestion, I'm just trying to think of alternatives for those who don't want to use Paypal

I would like that. Would allow to setup a standing order.

nice suggestions

@john doe, not very big, there's some traffic details:
http://stats.station51.net/dead-donkey.com/forum/
http://stats.station51.net/dead-donkey.com/www/
http://stats.station51.net/dead-donkey.com/scifi/

I have paid hosting in advance now though, so we are fine now until well into next year thx to station51 :) The added bonus here is that station51 is perfectly fine with ed2k links :)

PC_Arcade,
I guess that's a good Idea, I'll look at the companies that do this and see if they have any requirements. There can be a logo competition I guess too :) VeryCD and other sites do this :)

You make about 30% or something, off each sale. On the similar motif, signing up to http://www.screenselect.co.uk gets us ?6 if anyone wants to join a DVD rental place (its the one I use) I can give u info on that. Its also the biggest in the uk which is the bonus :)

Decypher,
Much appreciated, I'll update the donations  . As long as its low hosting, I can manage paying the hosting fees (until the end of the uni year when thinks get kind of tight).

I'll lookup at other methods of donation. Bank account I suppose is a way to go if people prefer that.

a bank account sounds right to me ... anyway, I never managed to pay anything through paypal because it just won't accept my credit card, although I use it (too) frequently on other sites ....
