To be able to see the people who viewed the threads.

requires hefty modification and I don't really see the point. Viewcount is there, and I can add a mod so you can see how many times people have clicked the link, but I'm not sure what the point or how one would display such data personally.

It's a pretty stupid idea IMHO, just because someone looks at a thread, doesn't mean they're going to click the link.

Why does it matter?
Emule is able to tell you how many people are downloading the file (or queued for it), which is EXACTLY what you're asking for.

There's already a "viewed" count on each thread, and you can see how many people are downling via emule.

What's more, it's nonsense. Just because I view a thread it does not mean that I actually click a link.

Well he is a bit of a bell end. Why not just use mule to see who grabs what? Or maybe ppl saying thanks in the release thread may help?

I rarely say thanks. Hey, I don't want to boost my post count unnecessarily.
