There's been a couple of fixes and improvements, nothing really noticable. From the user perspective, the Terms and Conditions has been changed, which I'm sure you already read when you signed up ( :wacky: ), so you need to check them out:
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/profile.php?mode=register

Coupled with this, the Rules have been updated:
http://forum.dead-donkey.com/rules.php

That covers the text side of things, now onto site functionality.

Due to some people leeching bandwidth, remote linking should no longer be enabled. If your stealing/borrowing/using an image, you'll need to relocate to continue to use it, once you clean your cache I don't think its coming back. This also means if your using one of the banners in your sig, you'll need to move it to some freeserver for now :) Remote linking maybe turned on again, infact that's likely.

The template and access to things such as the memberlist/usergroups/etc. have been updated.

I took the opportunity to reactivate url/ed2k tag filtering. I have no idea why it was 'disabled' in the mod we are using, I guess it was something to do with functionality. Its re-enabled, so some of the tags should be stripped off on the fly.

Linked to this, I have taken a page out of Pleasuredome101.com's book and 'anonymised' url linking. So when you click a link in the forums, it will take you via another site. :)

Both of the above I've coded and had a quick test, if you find any bugs, please report on them in this section of the forums.

Post, pm, or email me suggestions/complaints/death threats.

:voodoo: :cussing: :real_party:
ps. new smilies :)

Good to see this site working again. Thanks Spud

when I posted the previous message I couldn't go to Sci-fi Series

I could go to search, do a search for Sliders and see the topic, but not enter it.

People were saying such things, but having never been informed, complaint to by anyone with any greivances with anything in this site, and given that no civilised country has said other wise, I can only assume that there's nothing wrong with having a hash link, clickable or otherwise.

@el, probably forgot to change the rights

I know, this sounds a little... "pussy"

I meant to see the board mutilated with nearly half of the indexes working was horrible.

Horror Has A Home, yeah, but not this way!!!

Tomorrow I am on vacation with my gf. At least 6 - 7 days no HHAH, edonkey or computer. It is not even decided yet, whether I let my machine running, or whether I shut down everything. So I am desperately trying to make myself disagreeable so you all don't miss me too much. :D

I can use another script to do that, I once made a website for Legend of Zelda, so it was raining and thundered like in Link to the Past... ah happy days

I'll have a hack later, I just thought it was looking a bit unxmasy apart from my sexy hat and a few coloured avatars
