That's a rank image for banned / disabled accounts I'm afraid.

Satan didn't get banned for the goatse pic (or the square with the red dot in ;) )

He got banned (like PrayeR before him) for continually ignoring the rules of the site, flaming, spamming, posting inappropriate content and generally making a nuisance of himself.
He had been given a number of warnings, but chose to ignore them.

Seriously what's to stop someone just registering another account and joining again?

It wasn't for that reason alone he was banned....This has been a long time in coming with enough warnings and chances that he had received.Spud and the rest of the mods have been patient to a fault about this whole situation.Since this is only the 2nd person to ever be banned I think that speaks volumes for the tolerance of this site.In other words there isn't a bunch of fascist power trippers running and modding this forum.Look at any other p2p site and I doubt seriously if they would have that record.I am sure it will make some upset about him beeing gone but that is the way it is pretty much. It's just best to move on.Nothing to see here

I'd say two half 'bans'

One other user took the foresight to leave after clashing with a few members of the board, so I just disabled the account. It won't come as a surprise who that was if you were around then.
PrayeR did, actually, he left (with a message) just before so it was another case of deactivating the account once he left.

There are two ip blocks too, two ips identified as attacking Fh.org a while back. At the .htaccess level, there's some hacking ranges blocked too. These aren't bans specifically to do with here though.

Beyond that, nope. Each case there was a ton of warning, its not like its out of the blue or vidictive.

Well luckily you don't get to see half the stuff that's posted if its trash, since its moved and cleared out of the way. I have to say lately I don't see it in realtime, just the offending topics out of sight so its good there's that many active mods.

----------------
Regarding the site functionality.

You have to do a couple of steps but nothing really, its the internet. Common sense and foresight though. I'd hope no one would be vindictive enough to do that of course though. I know you see on some forums, there's idiots that sign up just to repeatedly frame and ruin the site. I'd like to think no1 would do that here, so a username ban, and an ip ban is the first thing will be done. I wouldn't hope to do anything past that though.

There are some really harsh things that can always be done, but never would I ever come close to them unless someone did something really unthinkable. It would have to be something like child pornography or something to take those steps though, or an attempt to destroy the site.

*sigh*
:(
Moving on... (and to site development since it seems to have developed into that)

Some day you'll miss satan.
I don't know if it'll be with your car, or with a rifle, or just some rocks, but you'll miss him, and he'll get away again.

I thought it was easier to read satan's posts by pretending he was Ratzo Rizzo from midnight cowboy. Except more angry, and kinda mean. Seemed the type to hold a grudge, and smart enough to cause damage if he set his mind to it, though I'd hope he wouldn't, as he did have a few good points that i cant really think of off hand. So did PrayeR. I know i would'nt hold a grudge, as i am always eventually banned from a site. I don't really get angry, just kinda sad. I'd get the 'haha, monkey, i had to buy a new keyboard because i laughed milk out my nose onto the keyboard.' thinking i was liked, and then my password/username no longer works. and I'm sued by them for a new keyboard and 4.5 million dollars for 'emotional distress'.

(You know, back when I was a mod, I did try to ban Spud. I was drunk with power*.)

I figured out the way to understand PrayeR was to read his posts and have to picture it comming from a viking just stepping off a boat into a little village that's about to be sacked by his bloodthirsty band o' raiders. he notices that all the stuff the villagers have is just crap(brand named rip off stuff, like sany dvd players, or Roldex), and the hovels are too soggy to burn(being still wet paper-mache), and the look of confusion when all the so called 'women' of the village waddle up with thier penis's tucked demanding to be ravaged(as it was included in thier thailand sex tour pre-paid fantasy package).
'It's a trap, lads! We've fallen off the edge of the world into one of monkeysmasher's paragraphs! If you value the natural shape of your rectum, run!'
'Captain PrayeR, this is what's wrong with american mental health coverage, it's not state funded nor mandatory!'
'I know, Olaff, it's a shame. They should have a more socialized system, like canada. Now, quickly, boys, back to the boat so we can re-read that brochure.'

me, on the other hand, it is best to pretend it's being said by say, Ed Wood, except not in a dress like glenn/glenda.That would be rediculous. I'm usually dressed up like Mrs. Butterworth, the syrup lady. (Wich happens to be one of the later stages of waffle maddness. the veterinarian said they may have to put me down.)

----------------------------------------------------
*(and my own homebrew liquor of anti-freeze and brake fluid that I like to call 'MS's: Fatality :It'll kill you!'</i>).

lmao, you digging up the seedy underbelly of hhah? We don't really have one  Luckily most people don't come here to cause a fuss, but i guess there'll always be a few.

Stan's active on fileheaven.org if your looking for him (when fileheaven doesn't shit itself that is, like it has right now  ). I think he's fighting the power over there too :)

if you want monkeysmasher, I can place all blame on loosing the old, old host.sk database on you if you want... that might get a few people with pitchforks after you if that's a desired effect.
