I just posted a release at several different sites and noticed
http://forum.shareprovider.com/index.ph ... 47&t=16192
http://www.pleasuredome101.com/index.ph ... =6&t=30623
has some mod that states the filesize right after the link:
Quote:
Danger.Island.aka.The.Presence.(1992).Dvd-Rip.Dead-Horse.avi (700.03 MB)

Kinda nice feature.

I really don't see the point. People post specs anyway, infact its preferable that people always post specs, so why would it be needed?

isn't it just bloat for the sake of bloat?

After all, the size is included in the ED2K link, so anyone interested can easily look it up.

anyways, someone has written and handed out a mod just like this for phpbb, so I wouldn't even need to write the code

Seen as though it would require minimal effort on my send, do you still want this?

I bet RE4 owns its ass, I got WoW somewhere but not played it. Can you play the pirate version online?

yeah you can, but it's pretty boring, since you'll probably be playing against 100 or so (1000 if you're lucky!) and not 100.000, which makes the game rather empty.
It was also really buggy when I tested it, but they've probably come out with countless new PROPPER's since that.

RE4 aint rpg is it? It's probably cool, no doubt, but once you've completed it, it's shelved, just like Doom3 and HL2.
I'm playing WOW any chance I got, and have so far only gotten my character to lvl 27, and as with all rpgs it takes longer and longer time the higher up you get...
Not saying that WOW is the best game ever or anything like that, but for now I'm addicted!!!

RE4 is the best genre in my opinion; action-adventure. Most of my favourite games are from this type.

That would be the same genre as Legend of Zelda, GTA, etc., and all the other great games from the IBM compatible days. RPGs are action-adventure, just a lot slower and despite appearances, often more restrictive (even if you can become a level 27 troll  )...

Depends if you see a distinction between class based role playing, and real-time adventure games.

Its hella cool regardless, and has some ace arcadey games in it too. First time I'm thinking about playing a RE game through again right away.

Have you just completed it once or completed it with all the minigames and goodies?
If not you should play through it a few more times to unlock all the cool bonus stuff like in every RE game
I?m a huge fan of the RE series and played 1 - 3 several times (i think completed part 2 about 11 times lol)
and Code Veronica on Dreamcast but haven?t gotten a NGC yet ...
If you like some help to uncover all the secrets look over at gamefaqs

cheers :beerchug:

p.s.: hope it?s ok for beeing a little off-topic in this thread but you switched over to RE and i could not resist :wacky:

yeah, i got loads of little bonus games and crap, thing is though... RE is no zelda, its not as fun the second time around... but RE4 is a bit of an exception. Might be because its a lot more action oriented this time.
