Yeah, it's a p.o.s program because you can't use it.

If you're struggling, why not post a request for help and people will do their best to sort out your problems?

The only files you can download here with something like bitlord are the files posted in the Torrent and NZB Section.
If you do however want to start to try emule have a go at these:
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules/faq/ ... tion=emule
http://www.emule-project.net/home/perl/ ... i?l=1&ga=1

When you're still having problems my guess is there are more then enough people willing to help.

This is mainly an emule/ed2k community so if you hate it, don't fucking use it.

Gotta say it is strange that someone who hates emule so much comes o a predominately emule site and asks for BitTorrent advice.

Nothing wrong with that, but maybe contribute a bit first and actually provide some information for your problems.

Yes emule can be really slow, but hey, it is trusted and very reliable.

Ask for some configuration help if you need it, and remember most? emule clients operate some kind of credit system etc so it can take time to get shit started.

Now try asking again, but attempt to structure your post into something that means something.

Oh and one final thing, try to get hold of something that was released a long time ago and see how well you get on with bittorrent.

Let's go to a Mac forum and complain about how much it sucks, and then ask for help with Microsoft Outlook

Damn, that was a sound burning  I have a ticket for number 47 so i'l have to wait a while :wacky:

However, on the note of emule, the ed2k network is far older than bit torrent, and is the biggest utilised p2p network in use to date (source: zeropaid, slyck). Clearly a lot of people are using it, and there's a lot of history and the best retention on any network (files from before emule existed, and ed2k had just launched still pesist on the network).

I make that comment just to show that its clearly not that bad and the only way to get at a lot of content. Unfortunately BT has many flaws, retention, centralisation/privatisation, etc.

I think that, with this in mind, that perhaps you merely are struggling to set up the application or your isp is blocking it (several do, it is the most popular p2p network as covered), both of which can be supported.

Even better would be to film it and get someone to post it here. It would probably be better than half the films that come out anyway my friend.

You aint said much mate, you still need help? You only have to ask us here on this almost completely eMule board. We are unbiased, lol, but we would help you.

 So now you bump the topic and continue... you people!

Cast your mind back and think about some of the conservative pc usage patterns you had in the past before you risked trying out newer applications. now imagine yourself now, taking the piss out of yourself back then when you were trying to change.

:googley:

I find it extremely amusing. I would actually like to clone myself and then kill myself, er, my clone, you get the idea.

Seriously though, I do appreciate I can come across a little funny, in a non-funny way. I do not mean offence, I just see things a little different to most people, this is reflected in my personality.

Hang on, what the fuck? I can honestly say that my initial usage was not even close to conservative, nor was it safe. I just chucked myself straight in when I got my first home system. Totally fucked it many times, but fuck me did I learn some useful shit.

Okey dokey spud, I see your point, no your fly is not open  , I will certainly try to restrain myself on n00bs. Guess I forget not everyone is like us LOL

:D Instead of hate something little one learn it and use it for what is made for . I assume you talking of speed download that e-maule only gets when you download like hundred files the same time . Also if you are using SP2 with XP windows get the fix for SP2 .
Then go to OPTIONS EXTENDED and change the number in MAX NEW CONNECTIONS to 120 and also chnage the number to MAX HALF CONNECTIONS to 50 then you understand that e-mule is not just a P2P but also a local server that needs some setings to be correct to work .
So if you do have the storage capacity on your machine my sugestion is download more than 100 files at once and never shut your machine down so you get the credits and accelerate your downloads.

if you need help contact me at : ntarx@yahoo.com
