It appears to be a global block. When I enter the IP of www.dead-donkey.com it loads the frontpage, but the site looks weird.
When I enter the IP of the subdomains they get translated to the domain-name and it gets blocked. So I couldn't get around it yesterday.

yeah, i force people to go to domain names after people refused/couldn't be bothered to stop using the ips after the server change last year, and they'd be hitting the wrong server now. The css file references the domain name which is why it 'looks weird'.

I'm reluctant to switch it back because of that.

No, when someone says they solely do work they are either self-employed and dictate their own work (meaning they sit around at home cupping their balls), enjoy their work so much that its not really work (lucky buggers), or spend their time pissing around doing something else just as unproductive :p

FWIW, when I'm on a particular work site, DD is blocked as they use Webwasher as the filtering software (Category - Illegal Software: Cracked). Funnily enough, Fileheaven isn't blocked by the same software.

Look at this: using https instead of http bypasses the whole proxy firewall.
