I'm curious, many years ago everyone used to use AOL IM to chat, but since windows XP bundled messenger i noticed more people convert to that (which is much more unstable network in all honest).

I'm just curious, does anyone actually use AIM still? When i think of instant messengers, i still here the AIM sounds for new message or people logging out in my head

AIM is just completely unused as far as the contacts i had on my list go :?

I usually use mirc for file transfers, its a bit more stable & you can contniue send ing the file should the connection stop (as with trillian or any messenger for that part, you have to resend the entire file)

Had an AIM account for several years. Never accumulated more than a few contacts, and I think I had 1 convo and that was fucking it.

I use MSN Messenger now.
