The following codec should work on 64bit systems:
http://www.koepi.org/xvid.shtml

Maybe take a couple of frames long avi, and i'll load it up in my nandub and post the results for you?

You could also look at gspot which will tell you the filters that are decoding Xvid.

uninstall your codec packs, uninstall ffdshow, uninstall morgan stream switcher (which is usually the number one indicater of a codec pack).

Codec packs are far more trouble than they are worth.

The links to individual codecs can be found in the sticky in the FAQ section.

Order of installation:
1) install latest ffdshow
2) install latest stable koepi Xvid codec (for encoding)
3) install AC3filter to properly decode AC3

In that order. You don't need anything else unless you are doing non-xvid rips.
