Not that I use it that much anymore but I'm glad to see:

9. Ipswitch WS_FTP

still kickin' around. That program was my first foray into
the world of FTP. Such memories... :D

Someone pointed something interesting out, no microsoft products for some reason.... Office and windows would seem like to likely candidates for most pirated!

Maybe it got censored by Gates? Or people are so used to pirating MS, that they don't see it as pirating anymore

Now that you mention it, I can't believe it! Everybody has to have
at some point in time grabbed a copy of office. The one I was surprised
to see on the list was Turbo Tax. That's not really a global piece of software.
I demand a recount!

I think i'm the exception then because I do not have it.

I use latex for documents.

I never bought a MS software in my whole life and judging by their quality I am not going to change this habbit.
I prefer freeware software. Like KeePass to store passwords or FileZilla as an FTP-Client.
I recently came across Scilab which is a freeware platform for numerical computations.

I just checked out the web page for this. Looks kinda interesting. Did
you start to use this at work? Or is it something you just found and liked?

I've been using Word over 13 years now and (I hate to admit this as I
don't like MS that much) have never had a problem with it. Two things
that I don't like about Word is that it really is bloatware and when the
program tries to 'think for me' (like auto-fill or creating bulleted lists for
me when I don't want to). Other than that it does what I want it to do.

The worst thing about Word is that damn stupid paperclip when you first start it up. Took me a hell of a lot of time to shut it off the first time

:o LMAO!!!

The most annoying thing for me is that it can't remember the last folder where I saved my files. It always display the contents of my personal files folder. :eatthis:

Frickin' awesome! Yes, I will add a third dislike for
MS Word: Clippy. Even changing it to the dog doesn't
make it any more useful.
