I bought a WRT610N, went through the installation and it doesn't bloody work (hooray, well done linksys, another success story).

I'm with telefonica ADSL2+, its an ADSL2+ router. I chose PPPoE and enter the username "adslppp@telefonicanetpa" and the same password. I put MTU to auto.

This is the only configuration I could find, and that's it. Its strange that there is no VPI/VCI, etc.

Can someone on telefonica please post there settings?

damn, that's what i've got but it doesn't work... you don't happen to know the provided router username / password defaults?

I tried admin/admin , admin/password , admin/1234, but no luck!

Just to clarify, this is a router without a modem, I am trying to get my telefonica router to pass through the connection to this wireless N router, but it doesn't find an internet connection

1. Connect telefonica router to phone line and turn on
2. Connect Linksys router to pc (blue), and power on
You should have this:
Phone <-> telefonica
and
Linksys <-> PC
3. Connect to 192.168.1.1. Set router ip to 192.168.2.1
4. Plug your telefonica into your linksys internet port (yellow)
You should now have this:
Phone <-> telefonica <-> linksys <-> PC
5. Reboot your pc or refresh connection

The wizards, etc all fail EPICLY to do this simple setup, don't plug the routers together or it will fail (192.168.1.1 collision), don't boot the modem after the router like i did... you won't get internet :roll:
