I have not used a Mac for a very long time, but last time I did I hated it, altho I would not hold that against current mac's as I have been informed they are pretty cool now.

ive never used a mac.
i havent really even seen one up close, ive known 1 person who used one.
i just read here how shit horrible they are, and most of the above posts seem almost visciously against poor macs. like they did something personaly to some of you: you came home one day to find your girlfriend down doggystyle with you mac spooge on her back, maybe your mother passedout naked in bed next to them. it just seems odd how people can hate a type of computer as much as it comes off most of you people do, as most people i see on the internet do. except for the people who regularily use macs, they seem to think they are decent enough. unless they are in on the conspiracy too.....

infact there isn't a single post "almost visciously against poor macs", not a single post. The only thing 'bad' thats been said is that "I don't have a need for one", which isn't even negative.

Personally I don;t care which os anyone is using, the PC ones are all free*, it's just a matter of what i want to do. I like to play games, do coding, run a webserver and that's about it. Windows is a lgitchy mess but it handles it all fine. If i wanted to get back into cgi, i'd seriously consider getting a mac, and I've been sworn they are the devils right nut for music (i can't say i personally do that stuff though)

I do hate it when someone takes it really personally and for example, tries to pimp out linux/windows/mac though. I mean leave that to the guys selling/making the software

and if someone pins it to me personally I'm going to respond forthwidth, with speed and vigor (read: cry in the corner then post a lot justifying what i said, until everyone is crying)

i know what a widget is, its a non metalic washer. i worked in a factory that made widgets, though i think its more of a general term and more then 1 things are considered widgets.

ah, i didnt mean antimac viciousness directed at any one person, though you do come off a bit anti-mac, but i'm not the judge(....i am the punishment,hehehe). you probably have your reasons(you like to do stuff). even from the start of this thread, the poster felt there would be anti-mac blowback. i will happily let the subject die as ive never used a mac, i am just interested in the reasons people dislike it so.

Clicked the other link and it said it was a 'widget', no clue what one is. and you seem certain not to answer me. I wasn't going to click through a site to look for something that has little relevance. Why couldn't you just say a widget was a mac-specific name for a plugin (so i'm informed)?
