hehe but i must say no thank you i have a pc..... the only real consol on the marked is the gamecube at the moment... i only need to play backup games on it a chip pr something should do it............ so where the fook is the chip?? the other solution playing thru a pc aint good enuff... arg!! if there was a chip for playing backups i have allredy buyed a gamecube.. |

what planet do you come from? I got all my cd based consoles chipped right off, the software simply justify purchases. It's the basic problem with 3d games which will cause a 'revolution' pretty soon. GFX will max out, this current gen proved it. The graphics will get to a state where they just don't impress anymore, and people will revert back to simpler but more fun/lastable titles. This has been going on for quite a while now with games, and i welcome the return to gameplay as the sole focus for games. |

also whilst on the subject of consoles, has anyone heard about the new gameboy? It isn't a replacement for the current gb, and isn't a sequel to it, but its supposed to have two screens integrated (apparantly on top of each other) It all sounds very odd, i'm wondering if it will be like a pocketpc, but dual monitors on a handheld is a good idea, i mean there's limited screenspace, adding a switchable screen extends the game/work area. I mean hell, look at my Ipaqs desktop:

@spud, ur totaly rigth about the gfx thingy on games , it dont impress no more... thats why i have turned back to old consol they are cheap and have alot of cheap games to and are damn fun to play on... i have the lasted pc games but i nearly play them... its the same shit in new packing, dont help with new gfx when the game play is boring and the same as the last shit that came out.... but anyway what screens do u have up there??? |

the desktop of a pocket pc. It is often very hard to do stuff because the desktop gets so very cluttered. If the GB DX thingy has two screens, that could be a great advantage for it. |

i think that was a joke, but I have never made a 'backup' of anything in my life, I just don't f*ck up my stuff. Plain and simple.
The only time I make 'backups' is of stuff i don't own hehe, so lets drop that word, and say copy

lol backups are fine, but i'm sure you'd be hard pressed to say that you're ONLY using the chip for real backups
I've got my fair share of downloaded games etc so i'm not complainin about that, tis just a bit sad when the whole choice of purchasing a console depends on whether the games are rippable lol SPud: from what i've heard the screens are one in each hand. dont ask me how that works with gameplay but the idea is very intrigueing |
