Quote: | Adblock is a content filtering plug-in for the Mozilla and Firebird browsers. It is both more robust and more precise than the built-in image blocker.
Adblock allows the user to specify filters, which remove unwanted content based on the source-address. If this sounds complicated, don't worry: it's not.
Just add a few filters. Every time a webpage loads, Adblock will intercept and disable the elements matching your filters. See?- nothing to it. |
you can block/remove parts of the website (turn off flash animations for egzample)
EDIT: works here with Mozilla 1.7

seems to block paypal... they aren't adverts, infact that's a service I use for buying and purchasing, as well as paying for hosting.

just get adblock and define what you want to block yourself later
I tried satan's block file but it didn't work, anyway with adblock installed you can easily add block rules later - just few clicks
