This is going the way of printers and inkt cartridges....

dual layer burners are doing flying off the shelves here for , what , 150Euro now ?

and saw some recordable dual layer media from philips ...17 Euro :-o

Easy, the media are going to get cheaper in a few weeks. I'd say 7.99 pounds is still cheap compared to 50 US dollars, the price from a few weeks ago...

Anyway, I'm going to stick to single layer for some time and then see what comes out of it. Perhaps when the media finally get some affordable price I will no longer have valid guarantee and decide to upgrade my burner with some cracked bios, or perhaps the new standards will take over?... Blu-ray's premiere is pretty close...
