Ive just started using D++ also and have sofar got..Nightmare city zombie 3 Zombie 4 and others..ive had no problems with it and there are sooooooooo many rare movies on there. I have a cracker of a hub if anyones interested...dedicated to horror films and i just check all films im downloading on avi preview to make sure they are the real mCcoy. It can be a pain but its well worth the effort, especially if we can share the stuff we get on the donkey for others. You lucky D*ck !
I mean what's your bandwidth ? Or do you have your shared dirs just filled with old junk so no one would want to download from you ? :twisted: ( the thought crossed my mind this afternoon)

I'll give another try soon..and yeah , I dare say there are more movies on dc++ then on donkey ! Though the 2 zombie movies ARE on donkey,just under a different name !

i tried direct connect last time about a year ago, and first time a couple years ago(for startrek episodes), but i could never get it to work, and everyone spoke german.

i like donkey cause there's that randomness of looking thru peoples shares, or even doing a *.avi search and getting crap i had never heard of. I wake up and its like friggin christmass, with the stuff i have downloaded. or, like real christmass, santa gives me nothing except coal and a few paternity suits.

i like the idea of dc, but here be some crappy anti-dc++ articles for countries pimped by the riaa/mpaa/etc. Your country not owned by the riaa yet? hehe, south america....soon.

my favorite source of depressing news for our ever becoming pay-per-use society. If i had any interest in music i'd care more. Unfortunately, my tonedeafness wont save me when i got to start paying for each time i watch a movie. I'd have to quit watching movies and go do something safer, like mugging the elderly or robbing liquor stores. I sure hope they never start a whackinoff tax, man just start me a tab. I would be audited.

Well iv'e never had much luck with DC or DC++. I did just check out that hub though and there was some pretty good stuff there. It's just no one ever has any free slots. grrr. oh well. Good things come to those who wait

That's the wakeupbomb mod for DC, as soon as you log on it disables all available slots until you leave. Kind of like the spudthedestroyer mod

*I've never seen these mods to download, but the process of elimination means they must exist
