I have a Gateway VX1100 21" Monitor.

Recently I have had spiratic flashes of the screen, like it gets Degaussed automatically.

Happens every 2 hours or so..

I have tried plugging my monitor into the wall directly, still happens.

checked voltage of the wires from the PSU, all is fine.

??????????????

Is my monitor dying or can this be a software issue?

thanks

I thought this might be a monitor problem, but tried another monitor and the same shit happens.

What's happening is my display will BLOW UP and then go back to normal.
Kindof like a DEGAUSS, but the monitor makes no sound.
/Happens about every 1/2 hour to an hour.

Anyone know what software could be causing this?

It's not the video card either, as I changed it to test, still happened.

thanks for any help.=)

And a remove / reinstall of the Video drivers wouldn't go amiss
