btw after playing for some hours (almost all the spare time I have) and after reaching certain points in the game I am overall VERY pleased in it. Also having upgraded my Geforce4 MX400 to a Geforce FX5900XT(cost 200 euros) I can run the game in full graphic detail with very good fps.
I very rarely actually buy games (last ones were Half-Life and Diablo 2) but this one is really amazing :o

and to my surprise there really is very nice horror elements in it like spud mentioned

Should have gone with ATI ;)

Here you'd get about 55% performance gain for the ATI equivalent, plus all the benefits of an ATI card like better TVout quality :)

well your favouring an inferior product is all I can say, Nvidia aren't market leaders anymore.

In terms of quality, all console manufactories now either use ATI or propreitry based products. ATI consistantly beats nvidia in every test, ATIs products are cheaper, hell ATIs products are better quality these days.

Nvidia are only really holding any position in the market due to that attitude in all fairness, but whatever, your money to waste of course :)

I would recommend seriously looking into performance and quality next time though if you want the best card for your money.

why though?

The only thing I hear is its drivers... If its drivers then you really need to install the 21st century driver update, we don't live in the 90s anymore

I don't know. I had some issues with a Ati card on my older games many years ago :)
I also had maany problems (including tv-out) on my laptop. Damn, I can't upgrade it, so I can't play some of the games. Maybe it is a "mobile" problem, but when I got a problem there was a Ati there :eatthis:
