Hi everyone i start using this software and it makes wonders, for ADSL users is 5 stars, for cable users like me is good enough since it use traffic shapping, basiclly it organizes all upstream and downstream.

Give it a try, and give some feedback.

You will have a 45 days Trial

Hope you like this new toy.

Quote:
* New spd command: reload. It will reread filter settings. Classes are not
affected by a reload, though.

* Circumvented a bug in AVM's KEN! that prevented cFosSpeed from working.

x Timerstyle is by default now set to 2 (performance counter) instead of 1
(TSC). This fixes some rare timing problems.

x Fixed a problem where after some days errors like "SocketException: No buffer
space available" would come up.

x Fixed a bug where cFosSpeed would crash right after a boot when you use it
first.

x Fixed a rare crash if BindAdapter failed (v1.08: at address cfosspeed+14ae1)

x Fixed a bug where files would be copied encrypted to windows system dir.

- Installer now disables cFosSpeed devices prior to uninstallation.

- Filter and class changes are now saved right away after isuing a spd
command. No more need to use "spd save" after changing. "spd save" (with
no options) will save both filters and classes now.

- Windows XP prio to SP2 has a bug that prevents two NDIS filter drivers
(like cFosSpeed or ProtoWall or maybe other firewalls) from working
together. After installation of the second product everything will work,
but after the next reboot one product will get no more data at all.
If you experience this problem and use Windows XP or SP1, install SP2!

- Installer now disables cFosSpeed devices prior to uninstallation.

- Filter and class changes are now saved right away after isuing a spd
command. No more need to use "spd save" after changing. "spd save" (with no options) will save both filters and classes now.

Well I normally have system restore disabled, but from the site warning I re-enabled it before installing this. And thank God I did. Initially I got warnings about Sygate, then my PC just shutdown with an RPC call. After that it wouldn't reboot, got to the point where it says 'Windows is Starting up' and just sat there. Luckily the restore worked OK, so I won't be trying this again in a hurry.

To get a better connect click on: clear calibration data, it will take some days till it stable but then it will fast as hell.

About crack: well it gives you a 45 days trial, news aplhas and betas are having some problems to cracking, but 45 days is enough.

Well my experience using XP SP2 and with till lil proggy i stable near my max bandwidth on emule.

Killing will see if i can get any info for your problem, soz about happening

there doesn't seem to be much configuration which i don't like... how can I tell if its using the right settings if it doesn't let you config?

I click Traffic Shaping Options and nothing happens. Open windows just brings up some blue thing with little point to it... anyone can clue me in?

Yeah i noticed there's not much in the way of options. Well i guess there's practically none but it's sure helped me with my bt upload killing everything.

Daeron roughly how many days did it take for you before you noticed a great improvement? Also could you be specific on what improvements you saw?

The improvements so far is that my upload and download seem slower, and browsing is a tad slow...

I noticed i had some trouble uploading the screenshots i had also while this was running. Took forever for them to show the url link on image shack. Don't know if it was coincedence or not. But other than that it's been good. My newsgroup download speed stays consistent at 47kb/s(which is my usual speed with nothing else running) for the most part while uploading a torrent.

One thing i haven't done yet is reboot my computer after it said my tcp setting was not optimal so it corrected it. But i usually use System Mechanic for that but i figured what the heck. I'll give it a shot. But i can't reboot now, I got too much going on.

This proggy is smart :) after you reboot just hit clear calibration data to stable your downloads, uploads might become a bit more instable in some cases.

If you click on Traffic shapping options just check if you have both checkboxes in "Auto"

Its all you need to touch, dont worry about anything, i stable my downloads in less then 2 days.

Never had my emule starting like 40kb/s at first hour like it happens now, after 1day i have my downloads almost above 60kb/s.. so my eMule turns in a Big Horse

Well I was at 100kb/s, now I'm at 26kb/s. Uploads were geared towards one slot, now its across several.

Are we supposed to clear calibration data every time we reboot?

That's the problem, I click on Traffic Shaping Options and it does nothing, I think its supposed to popup a window but it doesn't do anything.

And the entire program isn't even documented as far as I can see.. its certainly not making me want to buy it.

You should see this window when you click on Traffic Shaping Options...

I erased my Mac address and ip from the picture beside router. I'm guessing that's why your having problems Spud. You need to get that screen up(somehow) and change the setting to auto.

I don't get that, just doesn't do anything... at the moment my opinion of this program is extremely poor.

Doesn't doing this constitute theft of service?

Cuz Brighthouse Networks (Roadrunner) puts caps on my bandwidth which I can extend to a higher level if I pay for their Business Class service, which is 2X the price/month.

I doubt Brighthouse is so stupid that this would work.

This software doesnt double your speed, it just organize all your bandwidth to take maximum rentability of it.

Dont expect to have a connection like 640 kb/s and this software turn it on a 1mbit.

Spud just hit clear calibration data only once time, it will take some time maybe days, like they said 2/3 days till your connection stabilze. Betwwen this time proggy will avaluate your broadband to maximiize it.

Of course you dont have to buy its a trial, :wacky:
