Someone on the torrent tracker i got it from said it only worked in windowsXP, not that that makes any difference to anyone but penguins or ludites... just don't know if it works in win2k

Nice Screens.

Downloading the demo now, Age Of Empires was one of my favourite games.

Some of the characters and buildings remind of Settlers: Heritage of Kings. I got Age II so might check this one out also. Good stuff.

you have an uber settler which is nice... although that makes me wonder if you can play a deathmatch on regicide setting?

the full games been out a week on torrents, although i think it might be a prerelease jobby as it was released before it even came out in yankee land, and mine has this great bug whereby it wont actually register all tasks complete to get past the treasure ships level

will still get the collectors edition when it comes out in nov (uk)

mine's fine, there's known bugs in it, you've probably just got one of those playing up... its already had a 1.01 patch released ;)

Completed it, its a tad easy but the appeal was never single player in any of the age of empire games (infact the storylines are really shit  )

LOL gotta love a game that has a bug fix patch before its even released, dlding the patch now (1.31gig free space for a patch... madness) hopefully itll let me get passed that mission, personally i think the scenarios for aoe3 are pretty good, but yes they were pretty crap in the otehr aoe games, although from playing aoe3 demo and the full game i think i actually prefer the start age in aoe3 rather then the later frontier wild west type age

erm, its been out in america since the pirate version was released, the same friday.

I dunno if its out in this country yet, but its not like it will change in anyway since its on the pc. They might release 1.01 instead of 1.0 though if its not out.

its the same version, games are pirated from the GOLD copy 80% of the time, the rest come from retail or preview copies. Very rarely preview copies though.

What your playing is american retail  :)

Here's the patch, i realised i never posted:

because i think that's why your sound is still turning on and off even though its patched ;) Update the nforce sound drivers.
