Yeah they actually held back a lot in that movie compared to how it was...Alexander mourned for months at Iliads death..They hint about it with the whole ring situation in the movie...but again...it was just hints..Surprising really when you got openly gay films like Bareback Mountain being released and even nominated for awards(Like that means anything anymore  )But even films like that are marketed to make it look like heterosexual love is the predominate plot line in the movie according to trailer's don't realise it's about 2 gay sheep ranchers until you walk in and see it...either that or read some reviews..which a lot of people don't at least here in the states.

Most offensive? Anything with Ben Stiller.

The most offensive movie for me is Brokeback Mountain.

Movies such as Nekromantik, August Underground or Guinea Pig are not offensive at all. They are sweet movies. Stuff you can watch with your girlfriend before having hot sex.

Autopsy and real footage is boring, and don't make me tell you what i think about child porn. =)

I'm surprised no one has listed Last House on the Left. I hate that movie.
I have it and I never watch it.

That whole part where they're in the forest and that dude stabs that girl in the back with that knife and then they rape her and shoot her.

Bleggh. Although I don't know if I found that so much offensive as just shocking. I don't tend to find movies offensive. I mean, it's just a movie.

What am I gonna do gettin offended? Kill the actors? They're actors who are acting. It's not like they have a big social agenda.

So...I actually tend to agree that the really offensive movies are the kind that want to inundate us with brainwashing crap. "Brokeback Mountain" is a good example, as listed above.

Amen to that dude! I only find Snuff films offensive because some is profiting from real suffering ( as opposed to simulated suffering like Last House on the Left).

To this moment I have not found the most disgusting/ offensive film ever made but I can come up with some regardless of how great or shitty they are:

1. Salo - just disgusting
2. Nekromantic 1&2
3. Murder- Set- Pieces = the torso flesh eating scene freaked me out
4. August Underground- boring but still disgusting and offensive
5. Visitor Q = Crazy ass movie
6.Ichi the Killer= has some nasty stuff
7. Slaughtered Vomit Dolls= Got me catching some ZzZzZ Despite the vomit and gore.

Personally to be scared, by a film the movie has to have a interesting and catchy plot. Iam not easily offended for the sake of gore.

I didn't find it shocking... just real, sick and sad, But I did see 2 days ago the movie called " Day of the women aka I spit on your grave
I did find offensive how those 5 guys totally gangbanged the girl mercifullesly not even a movie much more modern like Inrreversible could beat those rape scenes in I spit on your grave

This is a very interesting thread, and the question raised is one that has fascinated me for a long time too. Some of the titles mentioned in this thread made it straight to my top-10 of movies I gotta see!

I apologise plugging a project of mine in my first AND second post already, but a few months ago I released a "video mixtape" called the Retard-O-Tron. It's a compilation DVD of all the crap I collected over the past 15 years, and it has some pretty offensive clips ranging from horror, B-movie sleaze, porn, documentaries and many more different sources. I definately learned one thing: different people are offended by totally different stuff. One person couldn't bear seeing someone taking a shit, while other people were outraged by David Hasselhoff singing a song, and still other people were offended by seeing girls fighting.

As far as I'm concerned - and, like mentioned before in this post, I'm probably desensitized quite a bit like most of you - the stuff I was shocked most by was some of the Asian porn where degrading women was the main fetish. That beat most of the acted movies I've seen.

hmmz, but if you've seen a few sm video's you'll laugh about those japanese movies....

as this thread shows: it all depends (as always) on "taste"....

btw, i have your retardotron mix, only browsed through it a bit when i got it, but what i want to say is: thank you :beerchug: under what nick are you normally known? because "Nederland" doesn't ring a bell ;-)

Hey Cybersatan, my usual nick would be Roelewapper ;) And it's cool to hear you got the Retard-O-Tron, how did you find it if I may ask?

About SM and Asian porn: I have been a webmaster for adult sites for four years, and I've seen my share of BDSM. Not to turn this into a pr0n-thread, but BDSM focusses on pleasure through pain, roleplaying, having the rush of endorphin magnify your sexual experience. The BDSM scene is pretty organised and clear about the master/slave roles, so - though it might not appear like that to the "unexperienced viewer" - BDSM is basically sex(play) between consenting adults. As far as blood and gore goes, you probably don't see any more than in the regular backyard wrestling video or standard horror movie.

The Asian porn I'm talking about, on the other hand, isn't heavy on the blood or physical pain, but focusses entirely on humiliation. Seeing a crying bride being dipped upside down a barrel of public-toilet waste, or seeing a trembling girl getting a pint of cum injected into her nose with a huge syringe - or indeed the clip from the Retard-O-Tron where a girl covered in shit is sent to walk down a busy street, raises far more questions about the state of mankind than the most bloody horror movie scene I've seen!

And exactly this brings me back to the point: different people are offended by totally different stuff.

This bit of trivia always cracks me up about Affleck's buddy Matt Damon:
Quote:
Damon is portrayed as mentally handicapped, capable of only saying his name. However, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone say they are friendly with Damon, and that he was going to be portrayed differently until his puppet "came out wrong."

You guys when thinking about this question should keep your thoughts in legal movies. Childporn shouldnt be considered unless the movie has been release legaly and accepted, like the first movies of Brooke shields or Ionesco, wendel. So if you feel offended by titles where kids perform then come with the title.
I would contribute with a film called "Happiness" quite shocking I would say (in a good way)

I recall a movie I saw some months ago. I cant remember the tittle sorry. But it is about a very stupid, beyond comprehension f. stupid woman. Mother of a little girl. This woman gets inlove with a man that abuses the little girl sexually and bit her up. The shocking of this movie is the womans brainless head that keeps on going back to the guy knowing he abuses her own daughter, pluss the graphics of the movie as it shows when the guy rapes the girl in a car.

Now you see people, learn from ZOD come with movie reviews, or titles instead of complaining like bitches.
hahahahaha
Cheers
