at first tnx@Spud for providing link and info.
well. movie is very very good. much more better than loosy BWP.
and of corse it"s clear that idea was stolen by bwp.
but i dont get point of peeps on IMDB who say - "shit, bwp is better". but guys! tLB was FIRST ffs...
i mean if BWP is rip-off of tLB, and IT DOES NOT GIVE ANY CREDITS to tLB - it sucks 100%...
ffs.
what u think about that movie?

btw. ending is shit. completely.
but anyway - great movie.

I had seen Last Broadcast before Blair Witch, and I had seen it many times before as well and the same concept in other films, yet when BWP came out they were calling it revolutionary, brilliantly acted, etc. Grade A bull crap! The acting is utterly terrible, the idea is tired and old, it isn't scary, it's boring, poorly made and brings nothing new. If my students would have made that film I'd have given them a failing grade, and threatened them that if i had to watch another film as shit as that I'd kill them.

Last Broadcast is a lot more entertaining, the acting is better, the style is better and... well it's just better. I think it's so unfair that people now compare it to BWP just because BWP is more famous. It may be famous but it's utter shite, I'd hate for that crap to put people off watching Last Broadcast.

Anyone who says BWP is better I just can't understand, they probably have no free will of their own and simply receit the rubbish churn out by the PR people who released BWP. I really do not understand why people say BWP is remotely good, but there you go

yeah.. seems PR is most powerfull thing in our world.. sad.
but anyway. tLB is better. that's all.
ending.. i wish they leave it all like it was docum. movie. leaving feeling - that was real..
but anyway. good movie.

btw. the same with Memento.
they steal idea too...
as u know there is a game Planescape Tornment...
they steal idea from that game..
and now PT is best game ever for small ammount of members.. and shitty Memento has about 9 on imdb...

no that idea is ancient, there's shit loads of old novels and SF shorts with the same idea, not to mention all the crime novels and other literature about identity, PT probably ripped it off one of them.
Memento was a good film imo, I'd give it an 8/10.

I'm a fan of Fight Club but that's a rip off of Psycho, yet imo Fight Club did something new and better with the idea.

It wasn't the rip off of the idea that pisses me off with BWP, it's that its so utterly shit, boring, poorly acted, etc.. They like took an idea, and instead of improving it, they butchered it.

I knew the BWP was crap from the beginning of the movie. I mean come on!!!... who fishes with a floater in a fast moving small stream...
Some of the film work made me sick, kinda like I get when I read while riding in a car. Two friends and I went to the theatre to see BWP. Going in we were three rational adults... coming out of the threatre there was one rational adult left(me) and two frighteded children now believing that there are witches in the woods. I'll quote one of them: "I ain't goin' in no woods!"

men, i know, but i played PT and watched Memento.
and that was rip-off. rip-off from PT not from novels or sumthing like that.
----- tatus, there was "scull" in movie too,
kinda firemen too, was "Anna/Succubus", THE ENDIng is the same and many other thingz..
believe me. COPLETELY rip-off.
i dont know u played PT? i mean deep-play? several times?
but after 10 min of Memento i said - it's PT. and i already knew ending and so on.

I actually liked BWP.

before i get called a dumbass, let me explain. I found it kind of creepy, and it really felt like I was there experiencing the strange happenings with them. Sure the acting was over the top and the movie could have been better. It's definitely a stolen idea. But then again, when has any movie not been done before. I loved how they never showed the witch. You expected to see something and it never showed up. They could have threw some dumb monster in it and it would have lost it's charm. I know im mostly alone in my liking BWP, and I can see why everyone would hate it. Guess it's one of my few quilty pleasures.

As far as TLB. I watched and I couldnt get into it. maybe I should watch it again, as it has been a while.

i dont think that BWp is full shit.
it's nice movie.
but after tLB it's not so good anymore for me :-)
actally tLB looked like REAL doc. movie more. well.. till the end.
IMO that's the point why tLB is better than BWP (at least for me)
