Fresh off 2005's "LAND OF THE DEAD" winning the Canadian Space Channel's recent Award for Best Horror Movie, beating out the likes of "SAW 2" & "The Ring 2" along with others, Horror Icon George Romero is scheduled to begin his next project which is called "Zombisodes".

It is unclear at this time if the production is a feature film, T.V. series or something for the web. Shooting is scheduled to begin in Toronto sometime in July.

sounds good to me, maybe we will get his dead series style tv show

sex without a dick can be fun to watch.... Lesbian porn :D

but seriously yeah i see where you are coming from (ok enough of the dick jokes - Editor), but more is allowed past tv censors these days on tv, i mean yeah not movie level but still it isnt as bad as it was.

Amusingly the season finale of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 - 4x26 - Insane In The Membrane got banned from tv, in america, although ti was still screened in canada, and tbh i can see why america banned it from the 7:30 saturday morning cartoons for kids slot lol, although its still tame by our standards even as kids, it featured doctor baxter stockman once again prolonging his life, this time by putting the only survivng parts of him (an eye, spine and brain) into a clone of his body, unfortunately he misjudged his experiment and his finger rots and drops off into a puddle of puss, then other bits fall off until hes showing muscle ligaments and baring teeth very much like a romero zombie. you then see him hammering nails through his arm, and slicing parts of his arm off etc etc etc. Very cool and proof that tmnt isnt a kids show, but america sucks for not showing it

Actually the FCC is extremely bad these days and it will be a stateside project. American tv is a horrid place of over the top censorship and terible shows.

All sex and swearing is censored, i mean look at what scifi actively does to its movies. It removes all mild to strong language, Dog Soldiers was cut to ribbons on scifi when it aired.

Violence gets through a bit more, but i can't agree with that, tv censorship in the states is terrible. As for movie level, that's pretty attrocious too, its increasingly becoming religiously motivated:

i've noticed the religious part, have u noticed how you see villians and bad guys who are every religion under the sun... except one, i don't think i need to spell out which one either

as far as scifi goes and dog soldiers i never watched it on anything other then dvd/avi so i can't comment but i did notice on the tvcaps for return of the living dead 4 and 5, loads of posters and branded things were blurred, now i realise that's more likely copyright issues but it boils down to the same thing

Well take a look at Masters of Horror, they got away with a lot because its a premium channel (and i don't think the fcc has all that much swing), there was some pretty extreme stuff I wasn't expecting like the lovecraft one with the baby, there was some pretty nasty gore in that.

Yet the abortion episode got banned outright.

You've never seen dog soliders? Damn, you suck... that's an awesome film  Scifi actively censors swearing, its the most notable snips, but even on scifi in the uk you can see entire scenes cut (or you could, but i cancelled sky )
