I've never seen a disturbing fictional movie. I'm trying hard to find a disturbing non-fiction movie but they all bore me. When it comes to fiction movies, though, well, I guess you can say Saw is pretty good, still though, it doesn't really affect me knowing they're all actors.

Irreversible
Aftermath
Africa Addio
Thriller: A Cruel Picture
Possession (1981)
Cannibal Holocaust
Last House On The Left (1971)
Visitor Q
Paradise Lost 1 & 2
Nekromantik
Mondo Magic
The August Underground stuff

Those are the ones the immediately come to mind.

I couldn't make it through much of the Death File series, as far as mondos/shockumentaries go.

Cannibal Holocaust and Man Behind The Sun disturbed me a little while watching but had no lasting effect. Also Guinea Pig: Flowers Of Flesh And Blood was a good one. I'm not sure if it counts as it's a documentary, but Executions is probably the only one that actually had a lasting effect. (for obvious reasons) :o

A good friend of mine watched Ravenous before very Thanksgiving supper. That trend was broken with Cannibal before the meal last year.

It must be tough growing up goth in Idaho...
