1408 - both the theatrical and the DVD (whatever they are calling that version)
-Kept me watching and really liked some of the tension. Prefer the theatrical version though, as the DVD version seemed too... ummm... the ending just didn't really fit. Lots of additions over the King short story. Recommended. Now if I can just find out if they renovated the room, so I can make my reservations.

Alien Apocalypse - funny and cliche movie about Bruce Campbell kicking some alien ass.

could I persuade you to post a link to the version you were watching please?

Thanks :beerchug:

I didn't down this myself, so if you want a link I'd have to create one or this file. I think it came off BT, as my former housemates were not into ed2k and they were into BT.

If you want me to create a link for this movie, be patient, as I'm preferring to use my bandwidth to release my Arkoff collection for now and for the near future.

Btw: I'm not sure what hopping vampires are like, but there are no vampires in this movie. Some guys are hopping in it, but they are dead people, some sort of zombies. Oh, and it's a dubbed movie (American English). Still want it? ;)

OK, I knew Asians were weird. This just confirms it ;)

They are indeed Chinese vampires. In the film the hero places yellow papers on their foreheads, like in the screenshot shown in the link you posted.

Fortress 2: re-entry - damn, bad and boring at the same time! Shift+Del. Not another word about this rubbish.

Madhouse (aka There was a little girl) - being a video nasty I thought this wouild be quite a good gore fest. I was disappointed. I guess this is one of those nasties that got banned because of poster art or something, because the film isn't even shocking to my grandma (who is dead, btw, but who cares). Except for some moments, this film didn't deserve to be watched.

SS Camp 5 Women's Hell - Nice nazisploitation with both torture and sex. The story is very thin of course, but overall this is pretty good.

The Werewolf and the Yeti - bad image quality, but good enough to follow the story which is about a guy slowly turning into a werewolf which only meets the yeti in the final scene. Again I don't understand why this movie was ever banned, it was quite soft. SBiG candidate, but I guess they already have it :)

Sl8N8 (Dutch for "Slaying Night") - While Doodeind, another Dutch horror movie that I watched recently was very boring and unexciting, this movie was pretty good. Good storyline, nice killer, some good gore effects. Yes, if Dutch filmmakers continue to make horror like this, we can put our small country on the map for sure.

Of course some people will say it is not original, but cannibal movies have all the same storyline, like nazisploitation movies have, and this movie has some originality of its own, while leaning on the US tradition of slasher movies.

Lawnmower Man 2, beyond cyberspace - Haha, what a load of crap! This is really a joke of a movie, but if you're an SBiG fan, skip it. It's bad, but not funny bad.

Tales From The Crapper. If all that interests you is tits, & pubes (with 1 pair of flaps on pause) & watching some old git getting murdered with his own cock then this film is for you. Lloyd "Troma" Kaufman even took advantage of this anthology film to spend 10 mins advertising his book sometime around the middle. This film sucks ass :moon:

OK, well, I liked it. It's not the best movie ever, but it's still pretty OK.

Yesterday I watched:

Contamination - a classic, but I didn't like the long middle part without any gore. The beginning and the end are great and the storyline is pretty good.

Forbidden Warrior - some sort of a Japanese Lord of the Rings. Lots of cliches, not much content. Some scenes are hilarious, but this is not a movie to remember.

I thought the suicide emoticon said enough. It was nothing but a horrible rip-off (some "remakes" are done very well, but this was a "rip-off") with bad acting and "bring it up-to-date" crap... I just don't see why they bothered to even make this... they offered shit...

The Hills Have Eyes - nice, this has that classic feeling all over it. And although I didn't care whoever would survive, it kept me watching to see what happened. (Oh, I'm talking about the original one, btw)

Earth vs The Spider - one of the Arkoff Film Library movies and this one was very entertaning, with a "large" spider chasing humans and weaving big ropes. I'll release this one next Sunday or somewhere around that time.

Hideous! - the monsters in this movie have feelings and they can be nice too although they're very very ugly. Funny thing. The topless assistant made this movie complete.
