however, i watched Micahael Moore's new documentary Sicko on Sunday night and I 'enjoyed' it in so far that you enjoy something on such a shameful subject. It was lightly informative, anacdotel and had the usual effective irony he loves to do (ie. going to guantanamo bay for free health care, or returning the bullets inside someone to walmart). Its quite weird watching how the us is essentially a third world country in terms of health care (a lack of a universal free health care pretty much qualifies a country as 'third world' if you ask me, in so far that in the vast majority of major industrialised and civil advanced/rich nations its unthinkable to refuse healthcare to the sick). But i don't want to get into the politics. I don't understand why people hate Michael Moore, he uses a lot of humour and irony, but then he's doing that to be humerous and ironic about a serious subject. Anyway...

The government can barely handle the DMV..I don't think I would trust it with my health care...as far as 3rd world goes...I would rather get an operation done here in the states then say...India or nigeria.USA is built on capitalism....that's just the way this country works.

Dead and Breakfast. Movie starts up pretty slowly, but interesting enough to keep you watching. It's not horror at all in the beginning, but when things are starting to roll, it gets better and better. I really liked the cowboy singing in between scenes, I think this was one of the better horror comedies I have seen in the past few years.

7.5/10

Death Factory. Another funny crapper "starring" Ron Jeremy, this time about a toxic kind of monster on a killing spree in an abandoned factory. I'll rip it end of last week for you guys.

Serious: 3/10
Hilarious: 8/10

This topic is already losing attention. A shame, not a big one, but still a shame.

Yesterday's movies:

- Swarmed: looked like a remake of "Killer Bees" and it was actually a little less boring. The wasp effects were funny.

3.7/10

- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow: not the famous film with Johnny Depp and Chtristina Ricci, but an older version of the story. I prefer the famous one, as this old movie doesn't contain any blood, gore nor scary stuff. Actually, it isn't a horror movie.

3/10

Do you mean this Pieces? If so, I think you may have watched one of the cooler slashers (slashers with chainsaws are soooo cool).

About to light some.

@ Truba: I thought Joshua was a great campy movie with all ingredients needed for a cheesy horror night: bad acting, weak storyline, lots of unnecessary violence and some shocking elements.

Watched Evil Dead 1 and 2 with the girlfriend this weekend. She'd seen neither. 1 totally freaked her out and 2 bored her. She hated it. Oh well. Probably do Army of darkness tonight or tomorrow.

Very entertaining thriller/horror with plenty of gore & nasty deaths.
Can do an AFR in 3 weeks from the unrated DVD if its needed.
