I think argento's cut went to show how good and perfectly balanced Romero's film is, Romero's original cut is superior and it's doubtful that this film will do anything but disrespect the original and the director. That they are making this and not the much anticipated 4th Dead is a crime.

Couldn't agree more, the only remakes I can really get behind the idea of are the two (1.5) remakes of NOTLD (30 anniversary and the Tom Savini one) which if i'm not mistaken were made so that George romero could try and get back the rights to NOTLD that he had been "cheated" out of. I'll watch other remakes, but quite often the point of remaking the original is lost on me totally.

sure it's based on the same book like all other "Ringu's"
but as i remember (i saw it long ago)
it had some momeets that makes it completely different from Ringu and so on. and with that virus stuff...

hey, my first act as mod was to ban spud. it worked pretty good untill he heard about it.

if i had to think before i posted, i wouldnt post anything. if i couldnt post things that didnt make sense, i would have to delete almost everything ive ever typed, and i am simply to lazy.

now d. of the dead part 4? i think there will be, give it time, there will be a sequal to everything. it took what, 20 years for a psycho part 2?

i liked ringu part 1, the 2 and 0 i didnt like much. the usa remake i dont even consider as from the same movie.
i did notice some usa movies had started putting part 0 in the title. i'm still holding out for 'casablanca II: Blood Dumpster'.

Got em all...but those people aren't really dead.I keep them in a suspended state between life and death...thinking on pulling the plug though...fucking electricity bills are outragous!Until that time though I will keep them all grouped together and satisfy my sordid needs with them so that I don't get sexually frustrated anymore.Nothing worse than a Hard-on and no where to put it!!
Thankfully the half-dead don't make to much noise when I stick it to them.Otherwise it might effect my conscience.
