The sequel to the 1987 cult hit The Lost Boys takes us to the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California, where vampires quickly dispatch anyone who crosses their path. Into this dark world arrive Chris Emerson (Hilgenbrink) and his younger sister, Nicole (Reeser). Having just lost their parents in a car accident, the siblings move in with their eccentric Aunt Jillian and become new prey for the locals way of life. When Nicole unwittingly falls for a local vampire, Chris must locate and destroy the gangs lifeline before his sisters transformation is complete; to do this Chris finds himself relying on the expertise of none other than Edgar Frog (Feldman). Subtle references to characters from the original film, and cameos from returning actors offer homage to the Lost Boys legend and set a sinister tone of impending doom.

Code:
   Corey Feldman         ...     Edgar Frog
    Autumn Reeser         ...     Nicole
    Tad Hilgenbrink       ...     Chris
 Tom Savini            ...     Van Etten
 Jamison Newlander     ...     Alan Frog
 Angus Sutherland      ...     Shane
 Shaun Sipos           ...     Kyle
  Moneca Delain         ...     Lisa
  Lindsay Maxwell       ...     Screaming Girl
    Gabrielle Rose        ...     Aunt Jillian
  Alexander Calvert     ...     Grom
  Sarah Smyth           ...     Hayden
    Ildiko Ferenczi       ...     Latex Girl
    P.J. Pesce            ...     Garlic Salesman
   Merwin Mondesir       ...     Erik
Mike Witherington     ...     Himself - Guitarist
   Kyle Cassie           ...     Jon
Evan Allen            ...     Himself - Singer

An official statement read,"Corey has made the decision to not participate in the sequel to The Lost Boys (Lost Boys 2: The Tribe). Although Corey wanted very much to participate for his fans, he would prefer to wait for a project he feels will do justice to the original Joel Schumacher film. He was attempting to move forward for his fans, but in the end decided that this project would disappoint them more with him in it than without him".

Looks like "Tad Hilgenbrink" will take Corey's part in the movie. (Link)

He read the script, realised it would be an absolute shitter and didn't want to be associated with it. :outsider:

I really was surprised when they announced a sequel, its unbelievable they are so low on ideas they have to remake and sequelize so much... and yet people like Terry Gilliam can't get Man of La Mancha made!
