Here are two that came in my mind while reading this:

Ressurrection: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0142804/
Se7en: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114369/

Judging by his sig file, I'll guess he has seen Se7en

If you like older movies perhaps you could try:

Cape Fear
Night of the Hunter
(I love Robert Mitchum!)

Newer horror... maybe Frailty or Dressed to Kill if
you like Brian Depalma.

oh Resurrection was good, if you can get past Lambert's acting, and it was pretty gritty compared to Silence. And lacking Brad Pitt, it might even be better than Seven.

Would Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker be considered psychological horror/thriller?

 yes, i loved this one. speially, as you see, John Doe - Kevin Spacey. Well, i really like him also in K-Pax, American Beauty. It's not horror, but. And Usual Suspects also.

And thanks, people, i'll check those movies you've recommended

(More, please_:)

What?!? Resurrection better than Se7en? Well, we clearly have a different opinion. I can understand you don't like Pitt, but he's doing a great job in Se7en. I think Resurrection is one of the worst rip-offs/bad copies of Se7en that I have ever seen.

i'll tell you one - Fracture. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488120/ With A. Hopkins and R. Gosling - he's a very good actor, i just think he mustget a very good role to fully show himself. Well, not bad movie btw. Well, it's Hopkins, we all love him. Cause he's Lekterrrrr.

Ryan Gosling was great in Lars and the Real Girl.
I have no thrillers right now...
