So guys/gals anyone who frequents the video store has seen a box for a "The Asylum" released movie. Those are the ones that look strikingly similar to a big budget Hollywood movie, but on a Sci-Fi Pictures Original movie (maybe less) So my question is: What do you think the Cloverfield rip-off movie title will be? Ill start with "One Eighteen O Eight" By spelling the name out you avoid copyright (I think) and you get the immediate recognition of Joe Schmoe video store patron. By the way, I checked the site and they do indeed have a movie coming out on 1-18-08( Edit 1-15-o8 ) titled "Monster" |

I am not familiar with "The Asylum Studios". What do you mean by a "rip-off" ? |

Take a look at the website. http://www.theasylum.cc/ You can match every movie with another movie that was released in theaters. Also, I found this kinda funny, it might just be me but Dread central calls The Asylum movies "mockbusters"

Field of Clovers* *=May or may not contain a large monster, depends on how the real one pans out. You get the feeling the ACTUAL Cloverfield is gonna be the king of hype 'n' bollocks over content? Bag 'o interweb shite. |

OMFG AvH was actually quite hard to watch in one sitting. By the time I got to the end I had slipped into a coma and actually had no idea what was going on. One thing I do know is that if the need for survival ever arises, I aint taking any women with me. They scream loads and they can't run for shit, they trip over thin air at the worst possible times. Menials. |
