Yup it's basically a more accurate version of his book which Maximum Overdrive was based upon.

hehe, that's kinda strange since Maximum Overdrive was infact directed by King himself, if I remember correctly... haven't seen 'trucks' but Maximum sure sucked.

eh, watch Kris Kristofferson in 'Convoy' instead. cool cool movie. I can't remember if it was that or the original 'Blues Brothers' film that had the record for film that smashed the most cop cars.. =)

i got the vhs, i think i even capped it, but never watched it. i read the book they were based off.
