Just thought I would give a heads up that creature-corner has an inside source that says with Freddy Vs. Jason making so much money, they might release a Friday the 13th box set. And the best news is that they might be uncut. That would kick ass

All of them were severely cut, most notably part VI. If you want a complete overview, head to

http://www.voorheeslair.dreamwater.com/index2.html

For each movie, there's a deleted scenes page, sometimes with pictures, detailing what was cut. It's astounding how much film was left on the floor...

Probably not. Running time is 86 minutes on average. As far as I know, all versions are pretty much the same worldwide, with the exception of the Japanese Laserdisc of the original Friday The 13th.

I don't think you have cut versions (other than the cuts Paramount made to please the MPAA)

All Eight Coming in Special Edition Format!

One of my good buddies on the inside, whom wishes to remain anonymous, had some good news regarding the Friday the 13th box set, "Paramount has confirmed that Special Editions of ALL eight Paramount owned Friday the 13th flicks ARE DEFINITELY coming out in 2004!!" This may not sound like news to you, considering the speculated September release, but notice he said "special editions of all eight." That means every disc could be jammed packed with hockey mask goodness! Watch this spot for more in the future.

Probably old news already to many, but wanted to post this great news!

Finally can watch them all.

Also the term Special Edition is just a marketing ploy. Those bastards at Paramount want to squeeze as much money out of the series as they possibly can.So Special Edition means nothing to me unless they are putting them out with extra scenes already inserted into the movie..or longer scenes as with the case of the 1st one.Guess we'll wait and see what happens.
