Did anyone catch Scary Movie Massacre last night on Freeview channel FTN? I caught the last 15 minutes or so, and the presenter was on the set of Beyond Re-animator and then she interviewed Jim Van Bebber! I could not believe what I was seeing!

Jim Van Bebber just got really drunk and started talking shit. He said he had been given $10m to direct a movie that would have pasta surfboards surfing on a tomato soup sea :wacky: and they talked about Charlie's Family getting released and showed a few clips from that and a few of his other films.

Here's the site for more (but not much) info. Perhaps this has been on Bravo too, because I think the 2 channels are connected, but I might be wrong, the content seemed quite new.

Anyone who has Freeview (and lives in the UK) should check it out - the next episode is gonna have a Jess Franco interview.

Shock Movie Massacre is the show Krug is talking about, FTN and Bravo are both owned by Flextech TV. FTN shows repeats of shows mainly from Bravo and Living.

I suspected as much. Yes, I've seen most of them when they were originally on Bravo last year/ early this year (latest series that is).

Emily Booth I believe that lass is called, everyone knows her from Bits when Channel 4 late night tv used to be good and I was an insomniac. There's Shock Movie Massacre and that other one with the same lass with just shit loads of weird clips from horror/sci-fi/weird porn movies that are the only good things on Bravo nowadays.... a crying shame because it used to be really good.

Troma, Cronemberg movie seasons and what not. Now its mostly just a channel for gay ass football thugs/wankers, with very few horror films :(

Oops that's what I mean. It was quite cool anyway - I mean how many other times have you seen Jim VB on tv?
