I just bought this on dvd. It says to be the 'Original Directors Cut' and 'Including never before seen scenes'. But I'm a little frustrated about the playing time.

The box says it's 1 h 41 min, but when I play it it's only 1 h 37 min 47 sec.

Imdb gives this info: Runtime: Norway:101 min / UK:99 min / USA:104 min (director's cut)

Can it be cut? I'm also downing this file, just to check, and when I do a 'fileinfo' on that it also says to be 1h 37 min.

I've read up on it and found that this movie was indeed cut in two places for it to be released on dvd here in Norway. but if the playing time of my dvd matches the rip, then I guess that too is cut...?

hmm this is getting confusing!! on checking, the bbfc site now states all previous cuts waived BUT the running time is 1 second less than the previous version which had 22 seconds cut

would love to see a totally uncut version but guess this is better than the 94 min heavily cut version i have on vhs :lol:
